don't watch x-factor/bgt as it's carcrash and cruel imho and not my bag, but got the family round iplayer this evening to watch the voice and we all loved it.

i liked jessie more than i had expected to, found the banter between the judges hilarious, really felt at least one more person (ben kelly) should have gone with william (surely they know how amazingly successful he is? but then maybe the whole cheryl cole thing has erased all of that credibility!) and think danny from t'script will do ok with the right people - if he gets more than 1!! i don't quite understand the script's success, i mean they are grand but a bit safe, no? but hopefully the irish knack for songwriting (bloody jedward/b'witched etc notwithstanding) will attract a few decent candidates...
