I really liked this, and loathe things like the X Factor with a passion - now that's contrived bollocks! I'm hoping this will be more like that other BBC one, where they were in a kind of stage school all week and had lessons and stuff?
Anyway, yes, I liked the judges fighting with each other to get the acts - funny!
And as much as I have yet to forgive Will.I.Am for Cheryl Cole, I was pretty shocked that so many people didn't jump at the chance to work with him! I mean, he's a super producer like Timbaland and that guy from NER*D - he's done SO much music for other people, produced so many major badass albums for huge people, from U2, John Legend, Macy Gray, Mick Jagger, Usher, Rhianna, Micheal Jackson - say what you want about him, but you can't deny that resume. Why would you not leap at that chance to be produced by someone like him?
Tom Jones - another impressive resume (Elvis??) but I feel like he just likes the big baritones/Shirley Bassey types and would turn you into him?
Cannot stand Jessie J - I hate her over-inflated, not-effortless rude girl urban schtick and really dislike her over-enunciated singing. Plus I feel like they should have had another girl there? Most of the girls might go with her if they feel like she can relate to them.
Danny - seemed nice enough but his dancing irritated me a little, all that hand-waving.
Hahahaha!
