yes but Y zombied, I mean just died (eg shot/ heart attack) and stayed dead without zombiefying ?

I think everyone has the virus, even those already dead (like the dead bodies on the freeway), but it has a long incubation period, so now ALL those dead people are going to suddenly turn into zombies causing one big mass zombie nightmare!

I think Jenner probably whispered to Rick something like 'it's now airborne, anyone who dies comes back' something along those lines. That's why Rick shot that big dude in the bar in the head a couple of times to make sure he was done. I need to see the scene again but I think he shot the first guy in the head anyway so he knew he was done. If he did already know because of Jenner then he was probably going to sort Shane out as well but Carl disturbed him. About the issue of discussing last night's episode, personally I think once it's been broadcast here then we can discuss it. If I hadn't watched it then I wouldn't come onto this link were I know people will be discussing it. I would stay away until I'd seen it myself. That's my opinion anyway.

Stealth, you are right So maybe not so useless afterall. I mean, lets face it, an iron could be a useful weapon if caught mid chores by an approaching flesh eating zombie.

They also cook - I am now trying to come up with ways of beheading said zombies with a well cooked roast chicken

Apparently the series makers made sure everyone in the Freeway scene (bodies) had a significant head injury. So they still fit with the theory LtEve :) haven't been back to check myself mind you but read on a couple of sites that they were very careful to do that.

The person I though of however was the guy with the tent in the woods who had hanged himself and was now a zombie. If walkers had come upon him while he was hanged they would have eaten him rather than just bitten him, surely? So surely when they found him (intact but zombified) they would have had their proof that every dead person came back.

God that's a garbled mess of a post. I know what I mean

I'm annoyed that it's the last episode tomorrow and we have to wait nearly a year for more! :( But at least Mad Men starts the following week :)
