Also admiration and swooning. If you haven't watched all 7 seasons, read no further!

Two Cathedrals - have watched it several times and only just realised last night that Mrs Landingham was driving back to the WH as Bartlet wanted to tell her about the MS.

I love the scenes with young Mrs L and Jed.

Why "two" cathedrals though?

Sorry! Assumed you were English. Blush Grin

Most of the PR stuff is in museums now but there are bits and pieces in old, wealthy New England homes. Bartlett having one of the knives is entirely appropriate!

Fiderer · 06/03/2012 08:42

It's not v obv is it? Grin

Wasn't it tribpot who worried about Charlie not being able to insure the knife?

Was she? I missed that!

No West Wing for me today. My son is home on Tuesdays so the only TV I'll see is CBeeBies and Roary the Racing Car on DVD!

Fiderer · 06/03/2012 09:17

I have to go to work (prob better than Cbeebies et al. I did my time with that lot - shudder- though I did love Pingu) so shall leave you with:

Bartlet "Unless a war breaks out, I'll be spending much of my day talking about bananas.

Sam "Godspeed to you, sir."

Anyone else watching the news notice what day it is?

It's Super Tuesday!

Thanks to TWW I actually know what that means Grin

MishiMoshi · 06/03/2012 12:43

Cavemum That was my thought this morning too! Grin

Tee2072 · 06/03/2012 13:10

Is it super Tuesday? What a crap American I am, I had no idea!

::off to read news sites::

Fiderer · 06/03/2012 15:58

Imagine if it were Santos vs Russell on Super Tuesday? We'd fry the MN server with our exit poll analyses and predictions and fevered calculations Grin

There should have been more Bernard....

From 'NOEL'

"C.J., your necklace is a monument to bourgeois taste."

"It was on loan from the Musee d'Orsay to the National Gallery. The President,
on a visit to the gallery, and possessing even less taste in fine art than you have in accessories, announced that he liked the painting. The French government offered it as a gift to the White House. I suppose in retribution for EuroDisney. So here it hangs, like a gym sock on a shower rod."

Fiderer · 07/03/2012 16:50

"I suppose in retribution for EuroDisney" Grin I know some criticize the "eccentric Brit typecasting" of Lord John Marbury and Bernard but I think they're great.

Bernard also says, "Rose, in what I assume was a clerical error, was promoted."

What is the drink CJ wants to drink in peace?

Tee2072 · 07/03/2012 18:00

Is that in the same ep, Tiny?

TinyPawz · 08/03/2012 08:56

No, it was in the episode I was watching last night Wink. If it helps she was talking to Toby and eating peanut butter crackers at the time.

Fiderer · 08/03/2012 10:56

Doctor Pepper - though not convinced that's a CJ drink. And I believe it was diet DrP. May be wrong, but still.
CJ should drink Martinis, made with gin

OP posts:
TinyPawz · 08/03/2012 13:45

OMGoodness! I thought that would be a difficult question. You are 100% correct, Diet Dr. Pepper.

Her alcholic drink of choice is of course a ........?

Fiderer · 08/03/2012 18:40

Don't know what CJ's choice would be, my choice would be a Martini.

The Dr Pepper I only got because I saw that episode again recently and I always think (nerdy) "Bloody Hell, Dr Pepper and barbecued chicken, yuck!"

OP posts:
Dozer · 08/03/2012 22:18

Ooooh, am addicted to diet dr pepper, v happy to be like CJ!

Fiderer · 09/03/2012 14:24

Tiny - what is CJ's choice of alcoholic drink? They don't have Dr Pepper here (back of beyond in forrin land) and dd was v disappointed. I told her CJ drinks it and she was Hmm as she associates pepper with the peppercorns that make their fiery way into her meals sometimes (must buy new pepper mill) and is now even more Hmm

Worryingly, the calm "OK, Mum, if you say so" accompanied by the reassuring hand squeeze don't bode well for my sunset years.

OP posts:
TinyPawz · 09/03/2012 14:41

CJ drinks a Grasshopper (don't actually have a clue what this is)

Nosey moo that I am, where is the back of beyond in forrin land?

Fiderer · 09/03/2012 14:58

In WW parlance, not too far away from where Donna was sent after being blown up in Gaza. I see the planes sometimes and when the transport planes start flying over 5 times a day, as Bruno put it - I buy canned goods.

The Zoe bar episode, good one Grin Grasshopper doesn't sound v appetising, does it? Minty gloop.

OliviaMumsnet · 09/03/2012 15:05

Ainsley like Fresca

Fiderer · 09/03/2012 15:06

What is Fresca? Will not google as here Someone Will Know.

OP posts:
Tee2072 · 09/03/2012 15:22

It's like 7Up or Sprite. Lemony Limey clearish soda.

TinyPawz · 09/03/2012 15:38

Not as a drink certainly. Nigella does a grasshopper cheesecake thing, that I am dying to make. www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/nigella-lawson/grasshopper-pie-recipe/index.html

Fiderer · 09/03/2012 16:39

Lemony Limey drink sounds great, esp chilled. A grasshopper cheesecake sounds as appetising as this
