Anyone also watching with me tonight?
I've had a rough day and could do with a cry at cute babies and a laugh at stupid and endearing things couples do/say. Grin

The ELCS looks kind of scary but great to see it too..

Evilwater · 18/01/2012 21:23

Awwwww...... And a healthy pair of lungs

KenDoddsDadsDog · 18/01/2012 21:23

Wow that was amazing. Have never seen so much of a Caesarian before.

Rollergirl1 · 18/01/2012 21:24

Don't like the singing couple but do like the blonde midwife. I think she has the right degree of "no nonsense" but also a great amount of empathy with what you're going through. She did shout at the lady last week, but not in a horrible condescending way, just in a way that she needed to get the message accross.

I had no nonsense midwives with both of the latter part of my births and I think they were the main reason why I had no pain relief and no intervention. They basically got me through it.

amandine07 · 18/01/2012 21:24

Bisexual woman- when they showed them being interviewed from before, she looked like she could be old enough to be his mother!

Not an insult to her looking old, more that her husband looks so youthful despite being older than her, I think?

Bearcrumble · 18/01/2012 21:24

I'm glad it was crying straight away. I HATE it when they are floppy and quiet for a bit.

PaschandChips · 18/01/2012 21:24

nice dainty size. Lovely.

hugglymugly · 18/01/2012 21:24

I hate watching them manouevre the baby out in a c-section. I always feel sorry for the poor baby's neck.

MilkNoSugarAndAShotofWhisky · 18/01/2012 21:24

This week is "Meets parents who defy convention" Hmm
So think the cameras/producers may not have given her a huge option about what she says!

HandMini · 18/01/2012 21:24

Sweeeeeeeet. I'm glad to see all babies have greyish hands at the beginning I was freaked out when I saw them on DD.

Heatherhills · 18/01/2012 21:24

Why didn't they deliver straight onto her chest?

hocuspontas · 18/01/2012 21:25

That neck business was horrible to watch. Are CSs always like that?

sam26oscar · 18/01/2012 21:25

sheeplikessleep · 18/01/2012 21:25

They definitely are showing more breastfeeding this series, sure of it. All good.

Heatherhills · 18/01/2012 21:25

Magneto, you can feel it, but it doesn't hurt iyswim. It's uncomfortable. You feel the tugging and rummaging and you feel your lungs being squashed and the circulation pumpy things on your leg and the stretching of bits. But it's never painful.

puzzletree · 18/01/2012 21:26

working I live in Leeds (survived the LGI :)) but my friend also in Leeds decided to go to Harrogate for her deliveries, I think you can choose to go wherever you want.
