I've had a rough day and could do with a cry at cute babies and a laugh at stupid and endearing things couples do/say.

ELCS interesting ths week. Having had 2 myself and not remembering much about them will be nice to see this one.

1993 , makes me feel very old.

Leanne is so young, she was born in 1993! I was doing my GCSEs around then- feel sooo old...her mum is not being helpful at all.
I can understand her disappointment for her daughter but does she really need to say all that in the hospital? :-(

It isn't always an indication for IOL. Daily monitoring is another option.

She hasn't been informed of the risks or benefits of IOL.

The blond midwife will be off duty long before Leanne has that baby anyway

When they do an elcs for pp do they do the incision at the top instead?

Yes, judgeyness is a vital part of the OBEM experience, like watching Location Location Location or Supernanny!

Think Leanne is 39 + something so it's not early or anything...induction is probably for the best if she's having reduced movements- it may be a sign that something is going wrong for the baby.
