Anyone also watching with me tonight?
I've had a rough day and could do with a cry at cute babies and a laugh at stupid and endearing things couples do/say. Grin

robin this series is up in Leeds. The receptionist was in the Southampton unit.

I don't like this super-clinical induction, can't they just monitor her for a bit longer.

Heatherhills · 18/01/2012 21:13

I think she's better off on her own from the start than with someone who's in and out their lives causing trouble.

PaschandChips · 18/01/2012 21:13

knob.

WeShouldOpenABar · 18/01/2012 21:13

i really dislike that blonde midwife and with leannes mam beingn negative the last thing shell need is that shouty mare in with her forcing an induction

teaandthorazine · 18/01/2012 21:13

Well, labour is awful, tbf...

hocuspontas · 18/01/2012 21:13

I expect the interviewer was 'leading' her.

RobinSparkles · 18/01/2012 21:13

Ah, that explains it then BlownIn I missed that!

girliefriend · 18/01/2012 21:13

Feel bit sorry for the young girl, her mum could keep those thoughts to herself really and just support her daughter.

CotherMuckingFunt · 18/01/2012 21:13

Twat refers to red lips man

SauvignonBlanche · 18/01/2012 21:13

The mum has a point but there's a time and a place!

K999 · 18/01/2012 21:13

ARF at brother and sister!! Grin

Magneto · 18/01/2012 21:14

TheDetective, I thought that reduced movements were a warning sign? I don't really know much about it but I would have thought an induction would be the right thing to do? Happy to be told otherwise...

NearlyDunne · 18/01/2012 21:14

I dont think i like that hospital as much as the other one

CotherMuckingFunt · 18/01/2012 21:14

I thought the blonde midwife was good last week. She was shouting to make herself heard so she could reassure the screaming lady.

blowninonabreeze · 18/01/2012 21:14

Leanne's mum off to a party Sad

lubeybooby · 18/01/2012 21:14

It does sound like she needs to just get a move on and have the baby though, the reduced movements are worrying - and with baby at term there's no reason why not.

teaandthorazine · 18/01/2012 21:15

They could continue to closely monitor though, magneto. especially if the CTG was lovely or whatever she said.

MrsShortfuse · 18/01/2012 21:15

I like the blonde midwife.

RobinSparkles · 18/01/2012 21:15

Lol, you thought I would have noticed the different accents [duh emoticon]

Rollergirl1 · 18/01/2012 21:15

KenDodd: But the Mum last week was getting hysterical and wasn't co-operating and at the time her baby was showing signs of distress. The midwife was just doing what she had to do.

Awayinamangercooper · 18/01/2012 21:15

Wow does her mum somehow not realise she's saying those thoughts out loud into a TV camera?

working9while5 · 18/01/2012 21:15

I hate that blonde midwife, if I see her coming towards me in June I may have a total panic attack.

OnlyWantsOne · 18/01/2012 21:15

Do we all have to be so utterly judgey?

KenDoddsDadsDog · 18/01/2012 21:16

I thought she was pretty unnecessary . Anyhow, let's see what happens this week.
