Oooooooh I'm watching ER on sky Atlantic and its the episode where Curtis Ames kidnaps luka and puts his hand in the vice!

I love ER but Lordy it knows how to ratchet up the tension, I know what happens and I cant watch without something to distract me because the tension is too much! It doesn't help that I ADORE luka. And abbey actually. And Sam. But mostly luka

I have watched from the beginning over and over. I love all the seasons.

Piggychunk · 09/02/2012 11:08

Can't believe been watching re runs for a year and its nearly over :(...
I cried too with pratt , proper tears too which doesn't happen often

TwllBach · 09/02/2012 12:29

he knew what was going to happen didn't he? He was a doctor. It's like Lucy all over again! What happens when the reruns finish? Does it start again from the beginning?

Lucy was sad but I cried more with Pratt as he was in it longer i think and I had grown to love him and the scene with him cyring broke my heart

TwllBach · 09/02/2012 12:56

Youre right, Pratt beats Lucy hands down. He was just brilliant wasn't he? I didn't even really realise I liked him so much. I can't believe I forgot he died! Do you ever wish they would start a new series? I loved the way they ended it, but I did sort of wish they had exploded everything so there wasn't the possibility of another one! Or maybe just a Christmas special. Or maybe I should just buy the box set...

I haven't watched yet, as I am a bit behind- they are all on the Sky box! But I cried today when Luca and Abbey made up!

DucketyDuckDuck · 11/02/2012 15:38

I am in despair.

What happens when ER reruns finish? What are Sky going to replace it with....

I have felt so secure this last few months always having ER there waiting to be watched!

TwllBach · 11/02/2012 16:45

I know! I almost don't want to keep watching because of the emotional trauma of it being over Grin I've sort of got used to crying every week day for two hours

Yes! And when Pratt found him in the toilet on the phone asking for help Grin

It was very sad when Romano died, don't you think? Just because of how nobody actually gave a shit and then weaver gave him a massive, final fuck you with the LGBT thing. I like how the writers kept it like that and didn't make everyone weep and wail.

Okkkay now I may be going bonkers - but

I just checked the schedule for next week, when Atlantic shows last episode I have got that insecure!

BUT

I checked the next day (I was wondering what would replace it) and it appears that they may be starting the entire thing running from the beginning all over again!!!! It lists Season one Pilot - AHHHHHH!

If there is anyone who can find out for sure ......I checked the sky website and couldn't find anything definative.

Yes I am so sad I will watch it all over again.....so how fantastic is that!!!

I hope.

DucketyDuckDuck · 16/02/2012 14:43

Couldn't leave it alone....just checked again in Never Miss. Its all there!

Its like comfort food to me.

TwllBach · 16/02/2012 14:51

Oh you're right!!!! I've been panicking wondering what I would do when it would finish. I've only ever seen from season 10 so it will be an education.

mejon · 16/02/2012 15:31

Ooo that's good to know - the early ones were fab... well they all were. Will it still be 2 eps a day though? I usually miss one and don't always remember to catch up at the weekend.

AllyB2 · 16/02/2012 16:52

I can't believe we are nearly up to the end of season 15. I have been watching it all again from the beginning since Sky Atlantic launched. I had only seen seasons 1-3 when it was broadcast originally on C4, so have loved following the characters all the way through.

I don't know what I am going to do without my two episodes a day on Sky+ - it has been the perfect thing for breastfeeding marathons! Can anybody recommend anything else that I could start watching to fill the void after next Wednesday?

TwllBach · 16/02/2012 18:54

It starts again from Wednesday :)

Really?! Fantastic. I started recording it from the start last year but it kept overfilling my very old Sky+ box faster than I could watch it, we now have an upgraded box with loads more disc space, so here I come!

TwllBach · 16/02/2012 20:50

I know your sky box pain Sad I've just promised myself to buy a season on DVD for each birthday I should have he full set on my 40th.

I am soooooo jealous. I've been hoping to get thebox set but its so expensive. Hopefully they'll come down in price again and soon!

TwllBach · 17/02/2012 20:17

I know, I begged hinted that it might be a nice present for Christmas but DP apologised and said that it was just too much. could have NOT bought me three sets of tea towels, six pairs of socks and raspberry flavoured hot chocolate that is, without doubt, rancid though

I has given up on ER by the middle of season 14 so I've never seen the end. Did you know that they originally intended to finish up at the end if season 14 but because of the writers strike they couldn't wrap it up properly so they did one last season (and managed to crowbar Mark Greene into it Grin)?

Archie Morris is quite probably my all time favourite ginger, the way the character grew into himself and lives up to the handing on of the 'you set the tone' has been aces to watch and I will be more than a little sad when I run out of episodes. It's like when I'm coming to the end of a really good book and I stop a couple of chapters from the end because I'm not ready to say goodbye Blush
