Very true Slinky my alarm at 6.30 too and I am now wide awake. Grin

animula · 11/01/2012 23:06

I thought the bit I saw was quite interesting (the three women + Sharon), SparklingBrook. I liked the Organised Mum and Jolly Mum.

AtYourCervix · 11/01/2012 23:07

so in summary I belive:

loads of children = good
made up names = crap
fabulous figure = good
breastfeeding for 11 years = good

placentas = good
elimination communication = batshit
Wet nursing = whatever

more placentas = good
CS comments = batshit

poledancing fame hungry helicoptering = bad

children as friend = bollocks

photos of poo = batshit

risky stunt no nonsence = good
no helmets= bad

Sparklingbrook · 11/01/2012 23:09

I could have done with that summary before the show started Cervix. I think you have summarised beautifully. Grin

IWantMyHatBack · 11/01/2012 23:09

AYC saves me from typing. Ta.

Agree with above summary

ImpOfThePerverse · 11/01/2012 23:10

Curiousmama - that comment is Shock, it's amazing how insensitive some people can be.

I don't think just cooking it slowly would preserve that many vitamins, try to picture the vitamin content of a cabbage that's been cooked on a low heat for 2 days...

Sparklingbrook · 11/01/2012 23:11

It would be good if we could have that sort of summary for other programmes. Grin

Apologies for my slow typing, I need to press refresh before posting Blush

befuzzled · 11/01/2012 23:12

Was worried that watching this was going to make me feel inadequate and guilty. But on balance, I feel, well, allright.

Although in this week alone I have been asked by my 4y old why I called him a dickhead (wasnt talking to him) and asked by my 7y old why I was being so nice and not shouting like I normally do.

adinaabfab · 11/01/2012 23:13

Charleen and her family rock apart from the names

leftmymistletoeatthedoor · 11/01/2012 23:14

Oh I forgot about 2 mums - says a lot though I quite liked the tech woman until she said it wasn't a blackboard.

befuzzled · 11/01/2012 23:14

what were the parents names?

adinaabfab · 11/01/2012 23:14

Step mum , what a twat.

leftmymistletoeatthedoor · 11/01/2012 23:19

Charlene and terry - begs the question why are 2 kids not given those actual names!?

HazeltheMcWitch · 11/01/2012 23:19

the parents were Charlene and Terry, IIRC

befuzzled · 11/01/2012 23:20

So one poor kid got Chitty?

befuzzled · 11/01/2012 23:21

And was there a (relatively normal) Cherry?

happybubblebrain · 11/01/2012 23:26

I flicked between Teenmums on 5 and How to be a Good Mother on 4. Good Mother was far more depressing and bonkers, loved the presenter though.

CuriousMama · 11/01/2012 23:28

So is there another one on next week?

KatieMiddleton · 11/01/2012 23:39

I am so late to the party. Wish I'd been over here bitching discussing with you lot Grin

I'm watching on +1 so only a bit over half way but why are they all foreign? Surely we can breed our own nutters aspiration parents here in Britain?

mybootsaremuddy · 11/01/2012 23:44

Charlene and Terrys children are called Techar, Chartel, Cherry, Charmar, Telsee and Chantee. I remember reading a newspaper thing about her when visiting friends once and my friend commenting that she went to school with her(just text friend to find out their names). Shes had the 7th now but friend dosent know what she had.
