Kids aren't that tough, sweetheart. They're a bit soft and bendy.

hermionestranger · 11/01/2012 23:00

Amsterdam is mental London traffic though. I'm fairly chilled but would never dream of cycling without a helmet!

Isn't

rhetorician · 11/01/2012 23:00

I never wore a helmet until I had dd on the bike - she quite reasonably wouldn't wear it if I didn't. So now we have helmets

CuriousMama · 11/01/2012 23:00

ImpOfThePerverse I agree totally. Really hope the CS comments are ignored. She's bonkers. Talking utter shite. I remember a mad friend telling me 'oh I may take a while getting pg but I manage to keep hold of them' I'd had 2 mcs. I just said 'jolly good, your blue peter badge's in the post'.

SlinkyB · 11/01/2012 23:00

Loving the WSM!

Harecare · 11/01/2012 23:00

I ride with one on the back and one on the front, but both wear helmets.

IWantMyHatBack · 11/01/2012 23:00

Nah... helmets are bollocks with teeny babies.

IMP not sure how she did it. But usually the placenta is cooked over a very low heat for a day or two in order to preserve the nutrients.

GreenEyesAndNiceHam · 11/01/2012 23:01

Kids ARE tough yes, but knock them off a bike with a car and their heads will pop like a watermelon. Wise up you narna

Sparklingbrook · 11/01/2012 23:01

Well what have we learnt then?

CuriousMama · 11/01/2012 23:01

Of course my mc comment is nothing to do with C section, I just mean best to ignore such tripe.

Really angry about helmets, should be illegal to do that.

bigeyes · 11/01/2012 23:01

IWantMyHatBack · 11/01/2012 23:01

befuzzled · 11/01/2012 23:03

rhondajean · 11/01/2012 23:03

Ooh next Wednesday looks good! Person oninternet is not who they said they were. That's a first!

heavydutyjudy · 11/01/2012 23:03

well, most of us probably don't have the time to do all of that mothering...

Sparklingbrook · 11/01/2012 23:04

I stayed up to watch that. Sad

bringmesunshine2009 · 11/01/2012 23:04

I never made a fuss when ds1 fell over, just dusted him down, he never cries, if he does I know it's serious so come running.

LeQueen? What makes you say that! Am so curious.

SlinkyB · 11/01/2012 23:04

I've learnt not to join in on MN threads whilst watching tv as I go to bed a lot later.

IWantMyHatBack · 11/01/2012 23:04

I want one of them to come on this thread and own up - two of them were BLANTANT MNers.
