Am a teensy bit excited. Grin Grin Grin And NOT pregnant this series, so can watch without that sense of impending doom.

Forceps in theatre as she will prob need a spinal. Also incase it doesn't work and they need to do a section.

Yama · 04/01/2012 21:39

Ah, that'll be it then Fatima. Thanks.

StarlightMcKenzie · 04/01/2012 21:40

Must be a smoker?

LilyBolero · 04/01/2012 21:40

Epis are such mixed blessings - the labour is much calmer, but at that point where you need to get up and about to get the baby coming downhill, you can't, and so the end bit is so much worse. Sad

Kayzr · 04/01/2012 21:40

I can't believe he is outside moaning on the phone!!

ShowOfHands · 04/01/2012 21:40

Once I'd had the drugs, I couldn't get up. It's not always possible.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 04/01/2012 21:40

Oh god those forceps bring back memories

Meglet · 04/01/2012 21:40

If they've had epidurals isn't it too late for being upright?

missmiss · 04/01/2012 21:41

dizzy77 · 04/01/2012 21:42

We were told forceps etc generally in theatre as things more likely to escalate- if they need to move fast to EMCS you're already there.

missmiss · 04/01/2012 21:42

Sorry, my epi question wasn't in reference to whether gravity should be tried before forceps. In fact it wasn't meant for this thread, I'm posting on the other thread and apparently can't manage to post on the correct one!

missmiss · 04/01/2012 21:43

buggyRunner · 04/01/2012 21:43
