because last year, the acts spectacularly failed to grasp what a 'guilty pleasure' is. And their choice of heroes was dubious, too- erm, Bruno Marrs??Grin

So, as Tulisa hasn't heard of anyone older than 20, will be interesting to hear what the Mixes end up with.
Marcus- well his hero must be jackie wilson, since he's already done hime twice..
I can't imagine what will warble from Janet.
Mischa - got to be J-Hud.
Verucca-Lily- should sing this- , just because.

Starting early, as I may have to engage with my children do stuff.

Grin

I love Amelia's styling too.

AuntieDoris · 26/11/2011 20:51

Janet to go please.

MmeLindor. · 26/11/2011 20:51

Love love love 500 miles.

But they are from across the water and they remind me of home.

Raahh · 26/11/2011 20:51

T'Pau were pretty much a one hit wonder.

Bye Verucca

So, I've missed the first hour and just watched the recap bit to see if it's worth watching it on ITVplus1. Was it as dire as it looked? Janet looked miserable!

SuePurblybiltbyElves · 26/11/2011 20:52

I sang that T'pau song in the car on the way home from work last week and I didn't shout Grin. I also Shut Down the Building with my rendition of Holding Out for a Hero.

500 miles. I asked the band to play that as the last song (b4 auld lang syne or course). Got everyone in the place. You can't whack it! What is there to not like?

AuntieDoris · 26/11/2011 20:53

Her singing made me feel a bit sick too. No wonder she felt vomitous.

Raahh · 26/11/2011 20:53

Proclaimers 'Letter from america' is a classic- I think it was on Saturday Superstore the week Margaret Thatcher was a guest, and judged the new release singles.

I am so oldGrin

Matthew McFayden selling M&S? Does it for me :o

SquirtedPerfumeUpNoseInBoots · 26/11/2011 20:53

My guilty pleasure? Delilah by Tom Jones.

SuePurblybiltbyElves · 26/11/2011 20:54

How I love you Boff. You're like a walking -slightly filthy-- Heat magazine but with nicer hair.

FairyArmadillo · 26/11/2011 20:54

I saw the last bit of Amelia's T'pau song and didn't like it. Loved the original and had the album. Think I'll leave you guys to it and switch over to CSI.

SuePurblybiltbyElves · 26/11/2011 20:54

Oh no, strike out fail. Now you can see that I called you slightly filthy

EmmaRoyd · 26/11/2011 20:55

bof, tell me you dressed as a bunny?

SuePurblybiltbyElves · 26/11/2011 20:55

Is that Anna Bloody Friel again?

oldqueenie · 26/11/2011 20:55

and during the adverts can i just say, as a newbie gatecrasher, what a v fine thread this is.... as you were.

deaconblue · 26/11/2011 20:56

Lebof were you wearing para boots at the time- they were compulsory socialist worker uniform when I was at university. My feet were too small- they wouldn't let me in!

LeBOF · 26/11/2011 20:56

Sadly not, Emma. Maybe I could have flogged the other one a Socialist Review if I had?

SuePurblybiltbyElves · 26/11/2011 20:57

Just fuck off with the muffin thing now, there's a duck.

KiwiKat · 26/11/2011 20:57

LOVE Delilah! Sing this to my bairns.
