Leave girls to get home alone? I don't think any of them are moving atm without itv minions tagging along, I shouldn't think there's much question of 'alone'. And if there was a group of them there, why is Cockoozer getting the heat for not getting her home? Because there was a hint they had previously shagged? What about the rest of the people there - is the onus not on them to be 'nice' and get her home too?

Don't get me wrong, I don't like him or the way his laddishness has been hyped. But I don't believe tabloid spins as gospel either.

GetOrf- Matt and Aidan were really good mates last year- I think he really looked after him. He even wrote a song, after the tabloids christened them ' The Ballad of Maiden' .

I'm feeling very nostalgic - bring back last year's contestants (except Claggy and the weasel)

Nicolo was Italian, Ruth was Spanish.

I really like Nicolo, he had that wonderful Italian mummy's boy arrogance.

Dannii gave him a terrible song to start with, if he had sang something decent I think he would have stayed, he had a good voice.

Not naive about the show, sucked in by a story in a paper, though....yes ! Guilty ! I also agree that she should not be out like that...she's only 16 isn't she ? Where are her parents then ? Grrrrr.

As above, guilty of falling for a story. I suppose I was unlucky in whatever paper I bought. Maybe it was told differently in others ? 'X Factors Kids Night On The Town', maybe ?

I don't normally buy papers, my only defence is that my DD spilt a drink on the tv book, and the only one to buy was next weeks, which was no good for last weeks viewing, iyswim. Hence the paper buying, to see what was on tv, not for the excellent coverage of true life stories.

There should be another twist- bring back 2Shoes, and erm, all the other acts that were chucked off the first week (that I can't even remember the names of) Chuck off Little Mix, Janet, Cocky and Klitty. And the Risk. sack all the judges- replace them with any 4 of the Nolans (that are still talking to each other, there has been a bit of a feud).

Make all the contestants dress as vegetables, and sing the Mr Blooms Nursery song from Cbeebies.

Give the prize, and number one spot to the 'Yeo Valley Farmers'.

This is the first year I have really watched it every week etc. I am well and truly hooked but hate them all so not sure why i watch it!

Ms DB - we are very sad indeed. And the saddest thing is that I am supposed to be in an academic-ish job and I am convinced that this stuff is pushing any trace of clever from my tiny mind. Soon I will have nothing to say at all, apart from guff about Jedward and Wagner.
