I think the teenagers who vote for Frankie must be here in Suffolk! I have just seen something on Facebook. A fourteen year old has "liked" another girls status. Second girl has said about a picture of Frankie "I really want my name on his bum i fancy him!" 27 other teenagers liked the status!!!

I'm trying to remember if at age 14 I would have fancied Frankie.
And then I think, no I wouldn't have. I liked a rebel in those days and Mark Bolan was my hero, but there is no way I'd have liked him if he'd appeared on mainstream TV.Maybe the young girls voting for him do see him as a rebel, though appearing in the X Factor, to me diminishes that. It's so not cool.
I doubt if I'd ever have fallen for Bolan or Bowie if they'd appeared, in my day, in Opportunity Knocks.

I think Gary chose him thinking he was going to be 'different' by choosing a bad boy and would change teh face of the show blah blah. What he failed to realise was that no serious rock type would go onto that show!

i have just seen this- can't say I'm surprised. i think they were hoping it would be done 'properly' by him getting the public boot on Sunday. He didn't, so now all his 'bad boy' behaviour has been bought to account. Probably drugs. How else was he even stll awake Sunday night, after half an hours sleep in the previous 24. Of course, that was big and clever

I've read on The Sun website it was drugs but that of course is pure speculation.
