I remember them saying on ITT a couple of series ago that the dresses that Tess wears are loaned to them by shops/designers & are all ridiculously expensive. Obviously for people with more money than taste!

SCDdiva - no, not any more. I don't have anyone to dance with [hsad], so have to be content with NewYokering up and down the hallway.

I was practising my tap steps in the hallway last Monday (wooden, already knackered, floor). DS2(4) came out of the living room and shushed me!

Anyone else heard that Robbie busted his nose on the camera during his knee slide on Sat night?

Also, apparently Russell had to have his knee strapped up and is being sent for a scan for a possible torn ligament.

I saw that as the judges were talking to him it started to bleed a bit - when with Tess it was more obvious. Poor love!

I'll make do with saying that if you see Craig on SCDITT on Monday (and he is always really good on ITT), he explains his marks, his feelings and his take on the judging spats. None of the other judges bother to do that. He really does judge only the dance, and apologises if people think he's been unnecessarily personal.

Well, what he said to Alex really was too personal, especially as they have mentioned her nerves a couple of times a minute since the series began

I agree, he's usually good, but I think he went too far then.

He was a bit abrupt, but he was talking about the dance, not her. She didn't move her hips, and seemed just to walk or roll from one move to another. It wasn't fluid or sexy. But yes, it's not nice to hear on national tv!

Gutted about Rory. He looked crushed. I don't think he was a real contender, but I think he had at least two good ballroom dances in him yet, and I liked him and Erin together and I fancied him.

James heckling Len was out of order, no matter what they said about Alex. And why on earth shouldn't the judges comment on the choreography?

Totally agree LadyClarice - I think they have every right to comment on the choreography so that the pro can get it right next time.. or at least try and showcase their sleb a bit better... the pro's aren't infallible no matter what they think!

Apparently one of the Pros on Dancing With the Stars had a right go at our Len for criticising his choreography this week. Personally I think the judges should judge the choreography - if the Pro doesn't do their best by their celeb they shouldn't bother being on the show.

Yes, the choreography can let a good dancer down . The judges have experience and can view from a distance - the dancers should accept their critique with good grace and disagree when interviewed by Tess, not have a hissy fit and then wonder why they never win - !

About the choreography, I don't think it's fair to critique the celeb on it. They're just following what the professional has decreed. But the judges should say when the choreography is dodgy, basic or just crap cough Aliona cough cough NOOOOO YORRRRRK Matt Baker cough and mark accordingly, ie a very basic waltz performed perfectly is in no way comparable to a complicated Argentinian Tango performed well.

Just watched ITT. Brendan going on and on about how different the routine will be and how the costumes are sooooo different. DH said "Is she going to be a cat and he's the broomstick?"

Jive I think, biscuits although it wasn't terribly easy to tell Aliona

. His jive was very light on content, wasn't it? I have to say though ? and I'm no fan of Aliona's ? it seemed to do the trick in that he seems to have found his mojo now. I think it allowed him to have fun and find his dancing personality, if that's not too Pseud's Corner.
