Starts tomorrow night at 10pm in case you didn't already know!

And the last episode of Season 1 is on before in case you need to remember what happened

My lips are sealed.

In other news : World War Z has been made into a film. Brad Pitt and Matthew Fox.

Ive only just started reading this, so have no pre-conceptions about what characters might look like.

anonacfr · 14/11/2011 10:44

I saw that. I just finished reading it and don't really know how they can adapt it.
Without spoiling it for you the book is effectively a journalistic account of the spread of a zombie infection through the whole world and how said zombies were finally defeated.
It consists of interviews with lots of different people so there are no set characters.

anonacfr · 14/11/2011 10:45

Forgot to say if Darryl gets zombified I might have to stop watching the show.
I'm hoping he's just injured (possibly by his own brother) hence the stagger.

anonacfr · 14/11/2011 10:49

There's no way they could zombify Darryl if you look at any forum he's by far the fans' favourite.
OK I have to stop worrying and step away from the computer.....

limitedperiodonly · 14/11/2011 12:21

Rick's uniform would be really stinky now. And his hat would have sweat stains on it

somewherewest · 14/11/2011 12:29

I've also seen episode 5....feel a bit guilty but I'm going to buy the season 2 box set when it comes out to pay my way. All I'm saying is that Daryl lovers (and who isn't a Daryl lover? Grin) are going to want to smack whiney Andrea around the head after seeing it. And Rick's uniform IS getting really stinky. Ditto his hair. Obviously shampoo is the one thing not on tap chez Herschel.

PS Agree that there is no way they are ever going to zombify Daryl. He's the one character they couldn't get away with cutting.

anonacfr · 14/11/2011 13:16

I'm saving it for tonight. I take it from your message that he's not (yet) zombified?

Btw I found this completely random and hilarious website.

You might want to wait till you've seen all the episodes though- there's bound to be spoilers.

Melty · 14/11/2011 13:28

Who wouldn't want one of these:

Daryl Dixon Grin

anonacfr · 14/11/2011 13:33

Fantastic!

Look at the accessories... Grin

JKSLtd · 14/11/2011 13:49

Love it!

Just watching it now.
WTF was their plan re Glenn & the well? How exactly was he going to get the zombie to come up with him without getting bitten?

somewherewest · 14/11/2011 13:56

anonacfr Sorry! I did give that away didn't I!

anonacfr · 14/11/2011 13:56

They were going to get Glenn to put the noose round the zombie's neck, then get Glenn back up before noosing the zombie up.
Fantastic scene btw.

somewherewest · 14/11/2011 13:59

Melty I know what novelty present I want for Christmas! Grin.

PS Is it me or do the 'virtually limitless posing possibilities' sound a bit dodgy?....

somewherewest · 14/11/2011 14:02

I would find the Rick action figure more interesting if Rick was actually involved in any action this season.

anonacfr · 14/11/2011 14:06

I'm seriously considering getting it for my sister...

Rick can't be involved in any action right now. He's too busy philosophising about deers.
Speaking of, why aren't they all feasting on venison stew right now?

notyummy · 14/11/2011 15:40

I loved the decomposing well zombie. What a great addition to your CV as an actor Wink.

Have to admit that I don't really get the Darryl thing. I prefer Shabe. Even though he is v morally flawed.

somewherewest · 14/11/2011 17:16

I didn't used to get the Daryl thing but he's growing on me, especially now that Rick's gone all drippy.

Melty · 14/11/2011 18:14

Honestly, Norman Reedus wouldn't normally do anything for me. Attractive, but not my type. Unwashed, racist redneck even less so.
However, in this story, from the beginning of this season, he's the only one showing any common sense. He's competent, he has heart and really acts like a man. He's a crack shot with a crossbow, and can track anything. And that rose scene with Carol. Brought tears to my eyes.
I didn't think anything of him one way or another in season 1. (I was all about the Egg love) Suddenly season 2, Daryl is it for me.

Since then, I've watched him being interviewed a few times and he comes across as a really nice down to earth guy. He has a lovely voice too.

Smitten: he is my TV boyfriend.

wintera · 14/11/2011 18:18

I still don't get the Daryl thing, he does nothing for me at all, and I normally like em rough and tough too. I don't know what's going on but I am obviously missing something.

PfftTheMagicDraco · 14/11/2011 18:19

anon - I love TWOP

notyummy · 14/11/2011 18:43

Don't get me wrong, in the case of the zombie apocolypse I will be the first to jump in bed with the slightly unhinged survivalist type if he has the requisite skills to get me through it. But whilst I am just WATCHING the zombie apocolypse on my sofa, I think I will be shallow and stick with the one with the smokin hot body Wink

anonacfr · 14/11/2011 18:47

I was going to write what Melty wrote but she wrote it first... Grin

anonacfr · 14/11/2011 20:00

OK kids are asleep, pasta's reheated, lights are dimmed, just me and Darryl...

susiedaisy · 14/11/2011 20:02

EnjoyGrin

countessbabycham · 14/11/2011 20:38

Right,I'm definately changing tack.I'm not fighting all you lot for Daryl.

I'm settling with Dale.I reckon he'd be grateful, and sacrifice himself for me if push came to shove - I can keep him in reserve to feed to the zombies to ensure my continuing survival.
