Strictly Come Dancing 2011

As all the other threads seem to have died off I thought I'd start a new one in anticipation of this Friday's first live show.

I have to say I'm not too bothered about the Celebs this year, but then again I'm more interested in watching the professionals anyway!

The line up for each of the two shows has been announced (from BBC website):

On Friday 30th September the couples performing for the first time on live television will be:

?Alex
?Anita
?Audley
?Dan
?Lulu
?Robbie
?Russell

Then on Saturday 1st October the couples performing for the first time together will be:

?Chelsee
?Edwina
?Harry
?Holly
?Jason
?Nancy
?Rory

Please note the running order has yet to be confirmed. The celebrities have been listed above in alphabetical order.

They will dance either a Waltz or a Cha Cha Cha, but I'm not 100% sure who is doing what.

My overriding thought in the run up for the series so far has been "I hope the wardrobe department come up with some decent foundations for poor Chelsee!"
That outfit they've put her in for the promo shots makes her boobs look humungous

Anyone else care to share their thoughts in advance?

Jason was brilliant!

I've decided I don't especially like Jason so am a bit peeved he was so good. That's going to be 9s isn't it?

Jason is a great dancer......but his facial expressions put me right off!

Kristina is so fantastic I'm really glad she has a good partner!

Jason normally leaves me cold, but that was brilliant (although a terrible cheat because I suspect he'd done large chunks of it before).

oooh i thought Chelsee was just a little dash of Babycham in a night of table wine...

light, sparkling, delightful....she made it look easy.

amazing to watch..she reminds me a bit of Marilyn Monroe (babyish lovely) i don't get why they didn't think it was great!

Why isn't Harry wearing a white t-shirt.... normally quite happy for them to have their chests out but for some reason, that just doesn't look right!

Loved Harry! Thought he did great

Liked Chelsee but she does need to bit a little neater!

The shows singers were wonderful today.

Right - my top 3 are:

1. Russell
2. Jason
3. Chelsee or Alex

And I would like to see the back of Nancy, or maybe Dan!

I LOVE Jason, Russell & Harry.

Not keen on Chelsee, and not just because a)I have no idea who she is b)naff spelling of her naff name.

Costume department managed to make Holly look really porky, I'm sure she isn't.

i really dont get russell at all - are we going to laugh at him every week because he's so camp?

hurrah for nancy - she did much better
good for lulu - am warming to her too

Loved Erin's dress.

I thought they'd have been harsher on Harry, because there was just so little jive in there!

Actually, I thought quite a few were a bit light on the dancing, still I suppose it's the naturof a themes week.

i thought chelsea's routine was very meh this week. (the judges disagreed, i might add). i also think pasha wuvs her.

I really enjoyed Jason, Russell, Rory and Harry this week. It was a shame Anita made a few mistakes, I thought she did it a lot better on ITT the other night! Who do we think is in danger? I think it could be Dan.

Poor anita, hideous outfit (again) - looked like she was chanelling Grayson Perry..
