Right, GBBO/Squirrel fans - seems the large-knackered sciurine has 2 shots at fame - one at the 40/41 min mark, and another about a minute later.

Am really very excited by prospect of this evening's and have made meringues to mark the occasion. First time I've made them in this oven so will see how they taste, they certainly look bloody brilliant, but then all meringues do!

Oooh, GBBO book has just arrived! Would luke to make just sbout all of it. Pleased to see Jason's cheese and onion tear and share loaf as wanted to try it. Also Holly's cheesy potato pie. Flaky pastry looks like a bit of a perfomance however!!!

Mary Anne was at the audition I went to. Lovely lady - really good daughter too. Poor kid sat through a couple of hours of boring sitting waiting and was as good as gold.
I'm torn. Holly or Mary. Not sure what the twist is going to be though cos it ain't over this week... 8/11 according to my sky info panel.

Will it rain throughout the entire episode like last week? I loved when we could hardly hear what Paul and Mary were saying cos of the rain on the tent. The producers must have been doing their nut.
