Anyone watching?

What is wrong with people that more would watch Big Brother than Psychoville? Bloody hell!
I haven't watched the last episode yet. We don't have a tv so will be catching it later this week on iplayer. Am saving it up like a delicious treat!

Hmmmm ......Can't understand the drop in ratings , I enjoyed this one more than the first - and I loved the first one .

why on earth was the last episode shown last night?! If I didnt have Sky+, I'd have missed it.

Also, re the lower ratings - have any of you seen many trailers for this series, cos we didnt really see many. Possibly thats part of the problem.

I never watch telly live ? record it all ? so I can't comment as I never see trailers. I did see the new series trailed in a piece in the Guardian Guide, but didn't get the impression it got much press elsewhere. Maybe a few interviews with cast/writers would have raised awareness, but I guess the press didn't pick it up.

Maybe ratings dropped partly because it wasn't as 'sketchy' as the first series? Yes, there were still great set-pieces and loads of humour, but the characters developed and there was a proper, long story arc and lots of plot.

Can't believe I'm saying that as if it's a bad thing ? but you know what I mean! Maybe it confounded expectations.

I am still sulking about Tealeaf, I was hoping he'd escape since he was never actually a patient at Ravenhurst.

I wish I'd stopped DH deleting them out the sky+ as we watched them. I could have watched them all back to back [scowly muttering emoticon]

I know, I loved Tealeaf.

Excellent last episode. David's poem was very funny although the coffin bit freaked me out!

I don't remember seeing any trailers for it. The Radio Times sang its praises quite a lot, but it's not really a 'mass-market' publication.

IIRC the later series of LOG didn't seem to be as popular, again, maybe because of longer story arc, meaning you had to watch the whole thing and not just laugh at stand-alone sketches (thinking of the Keith Drop/Papa Lazarou story).

That reminds me, did anyone else seriously wince when Peter of Hoyty Toyty shot Tealeaf and then hissed 'Schwartze!'

I mean, I know you're supposed to wince and everything, but that moment was deeply discomfiting. I felt a bit like when someone walks over your grave, IYKWIM.

LadyClarice I felt like that too. But I've felt like that several times in this series. Poor Tealeaf, he just stood there waiting to be shot

I almost don't want another series if there's no Tealeaf, no Kelvin and no hot evil Scottish man!

But I do, really, obviously.

And I'd like Sharouz (sp?) and his boyfriend to come back as well.

I was so glad Mr Jelly was the eventual 'hero'.
Very Geoff Tipps. I just want more!

I really loved this series - felt that it was more enjoyable than the first - I looked forward to watching each episode, not so much with series 1. Though I did like the dawn french character, I thought that the overall stry arc was far more compelling this time around.

SO many good characters. So many insanely hilarious moments.

Tina Turner will live on forever in my memory - in an entirely fucked up way
