My favourites in LOG are Pauline , Mr Chinnery and Uncle Harvey & Auntie Val.
In Psychoville I like Mr Jelly & Mrs Wren and David and Maureen Sowerbutts.

Don't forget ............ Last episode TOMORROW - Monday @ 10pm

Punkatheart · 05/06/2011 14:45

Oops upside your head say oops upside your head.

Yes, I cried laughing. It was also very poignant...

Species8472 · 05/06/2011 15:13

LOG - I loved the Pauline, Mickey, Ross 'triangle'. And Papa Lazarou - "Hello Dave". Oh, and Pam Doove. And Geoff Tipps. Oh, just all of them really!

Was so sad Tealeaf was murdered. Love Mr Jelly, and the Sowerbutts.

PfftTheMagicDragon · 05/06/2011 15:47

I liked Pam Douve , and also egregious Pauline and her pens.

But my all time favourite LOG character is Papa Lazarou and his pegs. We use his lines a lot at home, the pegs and a unit being £2. Grin

In Psychoville, I like Mr Jelly. I liked Tea Leaf and his deadpan delivery. Or I did.

PfftTheMagicDragon · 05/06/2011 15:59

Oh no! Papa Lazarou isn't the units! That's Pop and his tenants, isn't it?

How much is it to make a phone call?

A unit

How much is a unit?

2 pounds.

and the phone number skit - 444 4244 Grin

KenDoddsDadsDog · 05/06/2011 16:39

I forgot about Pam Doove. And Legz Akimbo "deafblind" it's all one word.
Can't wait for the finale - very sad it seems to have shunted off the schedule though .

Stilla · 05/06/2011 19:51

Cheering up tapes

KenDoddsDadsDog · 05/06/2011 20:59

I wish there was an actual LOG and Psychoville forum that I could go on to meet fellow freaks fans. Most people in real life think these shows are vile. To me they are the best programmes I have ever watched in my life.

I even went on pilgrimage to Hadfield (Royston Vasey) a couple of years ago!

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 06/06/2011 14:18

Start one!

I've had a quick look on Google and at a glance I think there are some. Don't know how active they are currently, though. Digital Spy might be a good place to start.

turdass · 06/06/2011 14:44

Will speak to DH later (he works in IT). I reckon you'd meet some fine folk on a forum dedicated to LOG and Psychoville!!

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 06/06/2011 14:48

The best! Or perhaps just the most twisted. but isn't that basically the same thing? Smile

turdass · 06/06/2011 16:01

LadyClariceCannockMonty

I totally agree Grin

KenDoddsDadsDog · 06/06/2011 18:26

Well there are a few people here that would defo use a forum. Don't all disappear after the last episode will you?!

OP posts:
Species8472 · 06/06/2011 21:07

I'd love a LOG/Psychoville forum! Hardly ever meet anyone who really likes them, most people just think I'm weird...DH tolerates me! Grin

KenDoddsDadsDog · 06/06/2011 22:34

Last episode was amazing! I won't spoil it til I know others have watched.

Mr Jelly : - "All I wanted to do was come to London and sell a dead Nazi's head?. But it's never straightforward, is it? ..."

Best quote of the series in my opinion!

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 07/06/2011 13:47

Watched it! What did we think?

Felt really sorry for Jeremy Goode.
Sad that Imelda Staunton's hapless assistant has carked it.
Love David getting his revenge on the Scottish bloke, but also v sad that the Scottish bloke got cremated alive cos I quite fancied him.
Found the cremated-alive scene horrific, in the best sense ? creepy, horrifying, tingle-making.

Species8472 · 07/06/2011 13:52

Touching love story for David Sowerbutts, plus he gets to stay with his frozen mum!

Loved the 'Superman' exit song at his mum's funeral, and David's poem, but the detective's ending was indeed horrible. Seems to have stuff left for another series, but since they moved the last one to a different day, and as the ratings haven't been great, it seems unlikely Sad

katkouta · 07/06/2011 13:54

I used to go on a forum, will try to find it, there was a LOG BLOG too, although they didnt update very often.
Loved the last episode, I felt it could have gone on longer...(had nice reece dreams last night!)

Why sorry for Jeremy?

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 07/06/2011 13:55

I felt sick when David's new lady (can't remember her name) offered to 'mosh up' his food and then started eating his sausage. Had to look away for the rest of the scene in case we saw her, um, giving it back and/or him eating it.

Sorry, bit squeamish about food chewing/regurgitating/other people's chewed-up dinners.

I know, there's a LOT that could be picked up for another series. I didn't know it got poor ratings; that's a pity. It's got to be the most original thing on. And I want to see how Jeremy and Silent Singer's story plays out.

Species8472 · 07/06/2011 14:00

Were David and the girlfriend drinking wee?? Looked like it [boak].

I read that the ratings started off quite well, but went down as the series went on.

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 07/06/2011 14:01

Oh Christ . I told myself firmly believe it was apple juice.

Species8472 · 07/06/2011 14:28

Sorry!
