It was amazing CherryPie.

We stayed at a mega posh hotel, where bits of some of the earlier Lost episodes had been filmed.
(When Jack is getting married, and he sits in a pool drinking the night before, the little white gazebo where they had the ceremony, and the reception room were all the same hotel).

I've even been watching the new Hawaii 5-0 because that was filmed on Oahu, and the same hotel features occasionally.

I was a huge Hurley fan, and hoped that the actor would go on to do something brilliant, unfortunately he so far only seems to of managed a very small bit part in a new sitcom called Mr Sunshine, starring the bloke who was Chandler in Friends. (Although he's going to be in something called Alcatraz, which looks interesting)

AlmightyCitrus Alcatraz sounds good, I'm looking forward to seeing that and hoping it'll be good! Would also love to go there and see all the filming spots, it's on my to-do list when I win the lottery! Lol.

CherryPie3 I loved the nicknames Sawyer gave people. He was funny. Also loved Hurley! Don't think I could pick an absolute favourite though.

If you liked LOST, I reckon you'd like Alias - it's fab! In fact I might have to watch the whole DVD box set again.

Jen Garner is amazing in it and Bradley Cooper - yummy. Oh and the delicious Michael Vartan (sex on legs).

Another JJ Abrahms production - if you've seen the series, you must watch it!!!

whitegold · 06/04/2011 13:32

Oh I love this thread! Grin

Lost was fab, and reading this thread has made me want to buy the boxset and watch them all over again!

So many unanswered questions which might make more sense to me if I watch the whole thing again!

CherryPie3 · 06/04/2011 13:43

WOW Lucy - I never interpreted it like that at all, never gave their cconversation a second thought actually! My god it fits perfectly :).

Vintage - I could never really get into Alias, but then again it was yeeeeaaaarrrs ago so I may have to give it another (fair this time) chance!

Citrus - oh just make me a little more jealous why don't you Wink. I'd love to go and explore everywhere but dh wouldn't, and I can't imagine 3 kids wanting to either :). One for the future I think.

I want to start watching Lost again but seasons one and two are at the very bottom of a massive pile of DVDs. I take those out and they all......jeeenngaaaaaa......

I really miss Lost but found out that Sawyer will be in the next Mission Impossible film so that's good Grin

CherryPie3 · 06/04/2011 13:47

Hi whitegold. that is exactly why I started this thread - co's I'm in mourning for lost stil baffled by the events that took place. Lucy's link is very interesting indeed.

Off to play with the tower of DVDs so I can watch some of season 1 before the kids get home from school :)

Not really into Mission Impossible but very much into Sawyer so will have to drag dh to see that :)

Alias is like Lost and has Bradley Cooper in it? Ooo must watch!! Grin

My DP didn't get into Lost until we were in Season 5. I kept telling him he would love it and forced him to sit down and watch it. He soon got hooked lol.

I know not everyone liked the ending of Lost, but I loved it. I personally thought it was perfect and I found I didn't need all the answers to everything, as I enjoy still being able to try and figure out bits we don't know. For the finale, me and three friends got together and got up to watch it at 5am when it was being broadcasted the same time as the US. We cried so much my friend had a nosebleed! Lol.

CherryPie3 · 06/04/2011 18:33

I liked the ending but it was just so unfulfilling. I wanted more, not necessarily a better ending but another season or 2....

Theres scope for at least one more. I think it'd be interesting to see the rule of Hurley the Protector and Ben Linus as number 2 :)

I would love that! I hope they do a little mini series or something. But I know what you mean, they could have done a couple more seasons out of it. All this talk makes me want to watch the finale again lol.

CherryPie3 · 06/04/2011 21:23

I bet they've already been inundated with requests for it, oh I hope they do it (maybe theres already plans fir it but it's secret? )

I wonder why they ended at season 6? I imagine it to be quite a money earner and the demand was/is certainly there?! Confused
