mumatron · 28/03/2011 21:24

would not fancy having mil there! was bad enough having my own mum.

BellaMagnificat · 28/03/2011 21:24

ooh dear rather creepy granny.

melrose · 28/03/2011 21:24

sobbing now

darleneconnor · 28/03/2011 21:24

Lets hope the baby doesn't inherit her head size-ouch!

ohmeohmy · 28/03/2011 21:24

oh poor dad sitting there on his own

Emmanana · 28/03/2011 21:24

heather1980 · 28/03/2011 21:25

just like mine! my mil was there for the birth of my dd

Sparklyboots · 28/03/2011 21:25

o god this is nailbiting

wrigglerstea · 28/03/2011 21:25

Did you see her trying to take the pregnant lady's hand while she was turning away to speak to her parter?

MrsChemist · 28/03/2011 21:25

I get on very well with my MIL, but I'd draw the line at her being there when I give birth.

littlewater · 28/03/2011 21:25

i'd trade mine for hers.

BitOfFun · 28/03/2011 21:25

This consultant's voice and manner is rather doom-laden, don't you think?

LittleDonkin · 28/03/2011 21:26

I loved that on the wall we made a wish and you came true!

Awww little William!

darleneconnor · 28/03/2011 21:26

It's horrible seeing babies with all those tubes and wires. Sad

Albrecht · 28/03/2011 21:27

I'd rather a sober and collected consultant than overly cheery and chirpy - would grate on me at such a time.

TobyLerone · 28/03/2011 21:27

I really hate the way that Glade voice-over woman smiles while she talks. Her voice makes me want to hurt her.

ShowOfHands · 28/03/2011 21:27

The cons is the demon headmaster.

I don't actually think there's a problem with the dh needing support. He's only human. If the wife has a problem with it, it's a different matter entirely but she hasn't said as much. I wouldn't mind having MIL there, she's a very good friend and utterly lovely.

Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 28/03/2011 21:28

Dee, will you be having your MIL> at the birth? (wink)

Albrecht · 28/03/2011 21:28

Feels awful sitting here guessing what happens. They are real babies.

MrsChemist · 28/03/2011 21:28

I'm sure William was the name of the unwell triplet in the last series. I still wonder if he's ok. The program ended saying he's been transferred to a Childrens' Hospital.

Shallishanti · 28/03/2011 21:28

I like the consultant- no point in half truths

upthehill · 28/03/2011 21:29

all of them make it - little William came home last week

No, only those present at conception, thanks very much!!! Grin

expatinscotland · 28/03/2011 21:29

I love the M&S advert song. 'If you're ever gonna kiss me, it had better be tonight . . . '

Sparklyboots · 28/03/2011 21:29

they shouldn't run adverts suggesting you can buy tiny friendly robots to an audience with pregnancy brain and concordant sense of attachment to anything cute
