I think the baby is River - she is at the beginning of the trailer.

I loved this episode. i expecially loved the bit where the flesh Doctor was struggling with finding the right doctor and so we got to hear the other Doctors voices.

Reality - The real Doctor was checking to see if the flesh Doctor had the right knowledge by asking him what a CyberMat was. The flesh Doctor replied 'They were created by the Cybermen'.

Can any one hear the xfiles theme tune on the prequel link futurity gave?

In the last series everyone knew amelia pond and in this one no one knows her - think this indicates she wasn't the real amy since eps 1 of this series.

I hated the way Amy was chanelling Dana Scully in The Impossible Astronaut. I remember reading Dr who/ X-files crossover fanfic when I was heavily into x- files and it feeling so very wrong!

The trailer and prequel are very Star-warsesque.

River did refer to the Dr as 'my old man', but then he'd be her father, and not Rory...

And River and the little girl were in the same episode, so surely they couldn't be the same person?

By the way, I'm sorry if you've mentioned this earlier (I've only read the last few pages), but how are the Dr and River moving through time? I keep trying to work it out, but can't!

I know they're going different ways, so the first kiss for the Dr was the last for River, but I'm thought we'd seen them kiss each other before, and even if we hadn't, they can never kiss each other again, because then the one last time wouldn't have been the last time for River

And given as the doctor and his ganger had swapped early on in the episode - Amy's just told the doctor that she saw him die..... Spoilers. Naughty girl.

SO WHEN did she get swapped for her ganger? Obviously earlier than the Impossible Astronaut - due to Hatch-Patch lady.... but surely not as early as last series, or that would mean Rory married a ganger. And that's just wrong. It makes sense of what the silence says to her in the White House bathroom - you must tell the doctor. Tell him what he knows and what he must never know (or summat like that). She blurts out that she's pregnant because, in some weirdy lab somewhere, she is.

Chamomile It's all getting a bit X-files. Red headed girly is off somewhere on another planet in a bright white lab with her big tummy... Gosh I miss the X-files.

Hmm maybe I got it wrong, Amy could be the Dd of the Dr & River [the plot thickens]

In the last series every person who met amy knew who she was, but she didn't know anyone or remember any previous doc events like the planets all being visable. never properly explained, perhaps in future.

Oooh Ooohh annnnnddd... Why, when the TARDIS is scanning Amy and getting positive/negative pregnancy results (sounds like when I had DD... crappy cheap pg test) Why doesn't the TARDIS also reveal that SHE'S MADE OF SILLY PUTTY!!!!??? You'd think it might have noticed. if it's just a plot hole. (intrigue not suspicion) if it's not.

Maybe the TARDIS did reveal that Amy wasn't real - after all the Doctor had to find out somehow....

No because Scatter, every time we see River from now on she will be younger than she was in Day of the Moon. So she won't remember the last/first kiss because it won't have happened for her yet. But she can have lots more kisses because it's a younger version of her. Does that make sense? They have definitely not kissed on screen before.

I think the doctor did know that Amy was flesh - he went to that island on purpose, he said.

That cast list has one of the centurions that was at the Pandorica on it - so they may be going right back to last series

So they didn't want to have 2 Doctors so the Flesh Doctor had to melt while the real one escaped in the Tardis. But if all it took to destroy the monster Jennifer was a zap with the sonic screwdriver, why didn't the real Doctor just do that? I don't understand why the Flesh D and the Flesh headache woman melted.

Didn't get loads of it but can't remember the last time I watched something saying "Eh? What? Why?" and ended up not understanding what was going on - and enjoyed every minute.

No iPlayer so can't watch it again. Anyone kind enough to give a plot summary in case I can't find an alternative internet source? And even if I can, frankly, cos I still won't understand...

The Doctor would have known that there was a setting on the sonic screwdriver that would destroy them, but he wouldn't want to destroy the Flesh Jennifer until there was no alternative - he would be hoping to persuade her to stop being hostile.

Though presumably the TARDIS shielded Adam's dad & the other flesh guy (and Flaesh Amy) from the melting, so why didn't all the Flesh go into the TARDIS while the original Doctor used the sonic on FleshJen and then got into the TARDIS?
