That ECV looked so uncomfortable.

DS2 was breech until 33ish weeks and he turned himself. The feeling of him turning made me vomit, it was a horrible feeling.

i feel sorry for opera lady but feel the whole 'babe' 'love you' bit is sooo fake

her dh looks

ECV's can be very painful from experience of witnessing them - and it didn't even work for her.

Although she then ruined it with the whole love bit

I think she is very, very nervous so don't judge her too harshly

can i just ask WHY are they doing a c section because the baby is breech? is that what she wants or is that simply hospital protocol.

if a midwife knows what she's doing (and fewer and fewer do because it goes straight to c section) breech is not necessarily a c section.

My indsider told me that ECV woman was a slightly nuts and dramatic inpatient....

The baby's not just breech, it's transverse breech. Currently unbirthable and isn't moving (they're questioning why it isn't moving atm).

They remind me of John and Mary O'Leary in Father Ted.

Ah but sophable - breech deliveries took a nose dive when a constraversial bit of research said they were safer delivered by CS.
