Just started paying attention - that mother looked rough as a badger's arse but seemed very nice. But the dress !

now i dont mean to be picky but the dress was pink with silver, but teh tiara was gold. you dont wear gold and silver together now do you? not even at a gypsy wedding?

LauraSmurf I reckon you're about right. If the dress is "THE" thing, then they won't have any qualms about spending a fortune on it. I'd imagine an "ordinary" custom-made wedding dress would set you back about £2-3k and when you think of the acres of fabric that must go into a dress like that...

The mind boggles.

You may be able to educate me here - but I really don't understand the sense of entitlement in thinking you can set up home/build wherever you like (even if you own the land) without permission and (as far as I know) don't financially contribute to the system that you use (i.e. NHS, schools, rubbish collection, etc)?

If I'm being very naive and ill-informed please correct me!
