I can't believe that they've killed off Mitchell. I am gutted. What a stupid decision to kill off the gorgeous one that everyone watches for (well, me anyway!).

Seems as if Aidan Turner is off to become a movie star so was happy to be killed off. I am not happy about this...also, if he becomes a movie star, there'll be a lot more competition for him!

Wonder if can/will bring back henrick and Mitchell or once they are staked is that it?

There has to be a series 4 :)

He will be back if possible, so he has not been killed off indefinately.

I doubt he will be in it full time though probably just a few appearances in Series 4 then gone. :(

Haven't enjoyed this series, tbh. Mitchell has been sooo tedious with his self-pity lark, I'm glad I don't have to look at his snivelling face ever again. And that prophecy thing always felt a bit clunky. Just not as well written as previous series, felt like they were running out of steam, particularly with Mitchell.

Overall, I did think this episode would have been a bit more action packed, but OMFG at the end

No coming back for Mitchell

I was very disappointed at the whole Nina recovery thing too. No mention of the baby etc

so disappointed in tonights episode - why did Mitchell have to die !!!!!!! tbh whole thing tonight did not move me one bit - "the old one" was not anywhere near as scary as Herrick, what happened to Tom ?

Hmmmmm I like Mitchell but I think I'm more sad about Herrick being a gonner than him! Such a fab baddie ....Wyndham will have very big shoes to fill there.

I've just read Toby Whithouse explanation re: losing Mitchell to 'Middle Earth'. Knowing the commitment needed for those films I think I'd have been more surprised if they hadn't killed him .

I wonder if Tom will be the 4th charcter from Series 4, to avenge MacNair!

I'm really not sure how a 4th series will work without Mitchell. It'll be too heavily weighted towards the werewolves of the 4th character is Tom...

That's what I thought but there is not really another way to do it because they definately left it 'too' open for Tom.

I can't think of any vampires who could come back into it so it will have to be someone new, unless of course the Welsh boy who is now in Becoming Human will make a come back...

Stilla I read somewhere that he was going to try and fit it in but sounds like he is not going to bother. I don't know if I will watch next year TBH.

Yes -there was an interview when this series started , but maybe it was just putting everyone off the scent for this finale. That bit on the Being Human blog does seem to say that they have let him go - BUT , just been trawling through comments on facebook and there are LOADS of people asking if vampires can become ghosts

I consolled thought that to myself earlier but no I don't think so otherwise all the scary buggers would come back and terrorize everyone surely.

I could'nt bloody sleep last night and acctually cried in bed , had to keep reminding myself it was a TV character

Reality I was heartbroken during the speech! Yes it was wanky but a lot of BH is cheesey that's the fun of it. I think it showed that the actors were upset about saying goodbye as well as the characters.

It really won't be the same without him... but in my defence I have been in love with Mitchell for the last 2 years :o:(

Admittedly it was not as good an episode as it could have been but the ending, I think, did Mitchell justice.

The series has been all over the place and not really in keeping with the other 2 but I just hope they manage to pull it together without him. Not just because I was a Mitchell fan but because I really cannot see how they are going to make it work without turning it into Warewolf V. Vampire as I assume Tom will be in it next season because he had nowhere else to go.

If this is the case then it will be a completely different show to the one we know and love.

Also after reading the blog I think they had to rush the end in a way that would write him out as The Hobbit announcement came just before filming started.

The policewoman may not be dead so she could become the new vampire character, fighting the institutionalised vampirism in the top ranks of the police force!

Still, what is the point if I can't watch Mitchell?

Agree JessinAvalon... surely he is a major focal point of the show!

But a lot of it was about the friendship so we will see how they build on it.

my abusive bastard of an ex was named as the box tunnel killer. to say it cheered me up is an understatement.

Thing with mitchel leaving is that it has become very were focused now. The point of the show was that there were 3 super naturals doing their best to act human. It is where the light heartedness of the show lays.
Now that Mitchel has gone and we are presuming Tom is to take his place, it is undoubtedly going to be the 3 were's and Annie against the oldie vamps, trying to save the world from their intended take over.

I love it for its humour. I don't want it to just become another farcical sci fi thing.

I loved George & Annie becoming powerful & confident. Nina & Mirchell always were. Knew they were vampires at the police station, too smooth not to be.

Lacey Thingy was brilliant but I didn't quite get her/Annies power of Nina but I guess she survived cos of the WW power?
