Who will die in the Corrie crash?

Any ideas? I reckon Graham, Molly, Fiz & maybe Charlotte. Or possibly drippy Sian.

DH and I were laughing at the number of teaser lines in it - the lingering goodbyes, the "what's the worst that could happen" etc!

And it would have been far better not to have shown the (toy/CGI) tram falling - just show eg a tram door falling, surely it would have been easy enough to shoot some kind of close up that gives the impression of a whole tram? Show just enough to show what happens (ie that and the driver shots) then have the big explosion/crash scenes around it?

What about Sunita and Graham though? Sunita went out the back of the shop to get change and Graham was in the flat above the Kabin.

Can't imagine Rita would survive. One of them must be Peter and I bet he marries Leanne in hospital (dying wish and wedding was due to be Thurs or Fri anyway) and she'll bring up Simon. Whether she'll end up with Nick after all is debateable but she probably won't forgive him or herself so I doubt it.

One of them must be Molly and I bet one is Ashley cos of the lingering goodbye with Claire and I bet she then goes to France with the kids. Or.... its possible he doesn't die and they go to France together as planned. There was a lingering goodbye between Deirdre and Ken too so I'm not sure its necessarily indicative of who is going, but part of the drama and meant to keep us guessing!

Fiz must go into labour cos they've said there is a birth.

I've just thought - there could be a twist and it could be a different couple that get married. It could be Nick that dies and he marries Leanne first.... leaving Peter free to get it on with Carla, or it could be Graham and Tina that marry....mmmmmm

the scene where molly runs away from tram with baby jack was soooo haunting - I gasped out loud and clutched 6 wk old dd2 that bit tighter......

It is molly, ashley and rita that die (along with charlotte) fiz's baby will survive and will be called 'hope'.

What about baby Jack? Is it true he will be Ok and Sally will raise him? Anyone know?

He's such a cute baby! When I had DS the hospital (in Mcr) had posters asking for mothers to contact Granada with new babies if they wanted them to play the role! I thought about it for a minute.

Fifitot - I'd have been straight on the phone! Saying that, he is played by twins I believe, which they always prefer as it's easier to have just one family to make arrangements with.

why is everyone assuming its ashley rather than claire?? i heard her house catches on fire and shes trapped with the kids, so i reckon its her.....

It's because there has been a funeral scene shown, and flowers spelling out 'Daddy' apparently.

Oh I know, I think it's just been assumed that because Ashley and Claire are leaving, that it makes him more likely to be the one.

I thought it was well done apart from the way they shoehorned the storyline about Max's new Houdini act in as a way of getting Steve and Becky outside.

Don't normally watch soaps but didn't want to be the only one among my mates not to know.

For those who care, yes Metrolink trams do go over some viaducts, especially on the Altrincham line (I go skating there and have to get a tram - why did I watch that crash?!) I would LOVE to know how it was done and how GMPTE were convinced to hand over one of the shiny new yellow trams instead of the older green/grey ones.

No way could Rita be dead, the tram would have failed to penetrate her foot-thick make-up.

Dh has just bought home a supplement from the Manchester Evening News ( he works where they print it )- it is a special edition of the Weatherfield Gazette- is a very clever mock up. Headline- Tram Terror

I doubt Rita would accept being killed off with other characters. The actress who plays her is very luvvy.

Quote of the week in this house was from DH (who claims he doesn't watch Corrie), "they should have got the woman who plays Charlotte to be Hayley, she looks like a fella"!

So, how soon after the crash will all the businesses be miraculously up and running? Usually would be months, can't believe they will run that long without the Kabin/Dev's
