Any ideas? I reckon Graham, Molly, Fiz & maybe Charlotte. Or possibly drippy Sian.

I missed some of the episodes this week! Can anyone tell me when the repeats are on please?

Nancy66 · 11/12/2010 17:39

I thought all the actors in the live episode were fantastic...apart from the one who plays fizz who massively overacted

lillybloom · 11/12/2010 17:49

Just joining but have been lurking from the start. I think Leftover has a point as Charlottes mum said "my baby girl" and then Fizz said the same as they watched baby Hope. I thought it was brilliant.
I wasn't so keen on the use of U2 song at the end though. Distracted me a bit to be honest.

gregssausageroll · 11/12/2010 17:53

No, you heard the flatline from the life support for Charlotte.

TragicallyHip · 11/12/2010 17:56

Yes I heard the flatline noise too when you saw John at the end

JeezyPeeps · 11/12/2010 18:01

I have just replayed it (on Sky+), and although I didn't hear it at the time, there was a definite 'beep, beep, doooooooooo'

onimolap · 11/12/2010 18:14

lillybloom glad it wasn't just me that loathed the music!

kando omnibus is on ITV tomorrow (Sunday 12) starting at 1235.

kando · 11/12/2010 19:45

thanks onimolap Smile

I hope Peter is ok, I am another convert and had not watched it for years until this week. As for Peter's cardiac tampenade, I was watching that episode with subtitles on (DS sleeping beside me) and it came up as "cardiac tamponade". Made me giggle!

I am still trying to work out who the dead 4th person in the car was too...

monkey9237 · 11/12/2010 22:39

Ooh update - I read on Digitalspy that someone had read a transcript of the Corrie scene with the firemen discussing the dead man in the car, and "it was the fireman who had the three kids." So the man who died in the car was not a father of three, and not necessarily a father at all.

Could have been Jim MacDonald? (who is a father, I know!) Liz is leaving, so this could be part of her stoyline.

monkey9237 · 11/12/2010 22:42

OK I am not going to post about this again (just one last time!), but I just saw this August 2010 interview with the actor who plays Jim Macdonald:

"Charles Lawson said: "I'm going back into the street for a few episodes... I haven't seen the scripts. I suspect either I'm going to get killed, or... I don't know. I suspect I've probably been in the frame for it - whether or not I'm going to be, I've no idea, to be honest with you and if not I don't know what I'm going to do. But I'll be around for the 50th anniversary."

Phew!

onimolap · 12/12/2010 15:06

monkey my earlier typo - it is indeed tamponade.

Anice · 12/12/2010 17:33

4 Funerals and a wedding (not deaths)

So could the 4th funeral be Colin Fishwick? is his body under the crash scene, anyone?

toastandeggs · 12/12/2010 17:54

no his body is under the factory, factory still standing :)

pranma · 12/12/2010 19:49

Well so far we have Molly,Ashley probably Peter and Charlotte but what about Fizz's baby? Will Tyrone find out about Kevin? Will Kevin and Sally stay together-after all she hasnt always been faithful either.

cloudydays · 13/12/2010 02:57

The song at the end was "Forever Young" by Bob Dylan. Sounded like it was sung by Joan Baez but not sure about that. It's a gorgeous song. I thought it was a nice touch.

Sonea · 13/12/2010 08:23

I'm going to have to relisten to that, I've got the Joan Baez version but I didn't recognise that, but have to confess I wasn't paying that much attention as was caught up in the emotion of it all. It is a beautiful song and always has me in tears.

kittya · 13/12/2010 12:16

I though it was a U2 track they played. Sounded like Bono

pranma · 13/12/2010 12:26

I have the Joan Baez version too

whatkungfuthat · 13/12/2010 13:40

The last episode I watched they played U2 at the end - All I Want Is You. Not everyone's cup of tea but the lyrics were very fitting if you know the song.

lillybloom · 13/12/2010 17:47

That was the last episode I saw. What have I missed?

Ha! that would be a turn of events!

mrspear · 13/12/2010 20:03

God it is very good

To the poster who complained that fiz was too calm after a prem labour; i would say as a woman who gave birth at 30 weeks; that it was normal. It is not calm it is shock. I couldn't move off the delivery bed for two hours and i didn't notice. It was my husband who told me later. I too hadn't read the labour section of my book!

johnnycomelurky · 13/12/2010 20:18

Mystery solved digital spy spoiler
So it was Ashley, Mollie and Charlotte and the fourth was a red herring.
