Was just sat here fondly remembering when I used to watch 'Story Makers' with DS1 when he was little and it was shown in the bedtime hour on CBeebies - we used to cuddle onto the sofa and watch it and twas lovely.

I quite miss Story Makers....Ben 10 is just not the same Wink

Moving House
Burst Water Mains (is that the same as Sewage though???)

notnowbernard · 20/10/2010 20:20

God, I've missed loads

Carrots?!

scaleymcnamechange · 20/10/2010 20:20

Pencils.

Wind (Auntie Mabel had set her hair on rollers cos she was going to a party, then she had to go outside to rescue her blouse that blew off the washing line and she came back looking like she'd been dragged through a hedge backwards).

PandaG · 20/10/2010 20:20

there is a poo one - she goes to a sewage works. it is fantastic!

PlasticinePolly · 20/10/2010 20:20

Teletubbies
Charlie and Lola
Tots TV
Rosie and Jim

notnowbernard · 20/10/2010 20:20

No Sewage is where she follows an actual piece of shit down to the sewers

It's Pippin's shit, btw

LostArt · 20/10/2010 20:21

I really miss peppa pig.

Mssoul - I loved The Shiny Show. The puppets were mad and manky. Grin

SuePurblybilt · 20/10/2010 20:21

poo? chip pans? carrots? How come I've seen Wool and Bricks a million times and never heard of those. You must be on Cbeebies Gold [hgrin].

Hedgehogs, they fly to St Tiggywinkles and she sings about roadkill and wounded foxes.

MajesticScallop · 20/10/2010 20:21

"They make it into sludge cake....It all gets used again!!!"

Best kids' TV song ever.

notnowbernard · 20/10/2010 20:22

HEDGEHOGS!

How could I forget

SuePurblybilt · 20/10/2010 20:22

Plasticine, my DD loves Rosie and Jim, I have to keep an old VHS player limping on to play the videos. Luckily they're funny so I don't mind watching them.

You have to be kidding about following a dog turd.

notnowbernard · 20/10/2010 20:24

I do think "Holes, holes, useful holes" just nudges Sludge Cake, to be fair

Grin
Ceebee74 · 20/10/2010 20:26

Did anyone say the toothpaste Come Outside? There was one with a fox too.

I amazed that people like 64 Zoo Lane. I despise it! So boring!

SuePurblybilt · 20/10/2010 20:26

She's right though. Slice it where you like, holes are useful.

MajesticScallop · 20/10/2010 20:27

I am weeping with laughter here. Thank you all so much. Fabulous.

SuePurblybilt · 20/10/2010 20:27

Oh yes, the toothpaste one was on t'other week too. How to make stripy toothpaste. I imagine she gets though a fair bit.

notnowbernard · 20/10/2010 20:29

What I loved about Come Outside (WHY is it called that btw??!!) was how dated it was

Eg, the Bread one - she is shopping In Safeway for it Grin

FunkofFortyThousandYears · 20/10/2010 20:32

Daffodils
Frogs (brilliant funky song)

god I love Pippin.

SherbetDibDab · 20/10/2010 20:33

There are 38 Come Outsides - www.imdb.com/title/tt0287203/episodes

nannynobnobs · 20/10/2010 20:33

I LOVE Come Outside! :) It's very soothing, probably because it's so old...
I have recently discovered that they show Rolie Polie Olie on Tiny Pop. It used to be on in the winter in DD1's early years so takes me back to cosy days in :)
I shall never miss the Tweenies, or the Fimbles. Augh. Or Waybuloo for that matter- DD2 thinks it's pretty dull and I don't really see the point in it.

FunkofFortyThousandYears · 20/10/2010 20:33

Oh yes the fox one, obvious stock footage of fox and 'danger' music, aunti mabel shouting 'shoo shoo'

notnowbernard · 20/10/2010 20:35

That's made my night Grin

Am going to make it my life's mission to watch all 38

COME ON DS! (10w and counting...)

NoahAndTheWhale · 20/10/2010 20:35

I have never seen the poo episode of Come outside. I need to see it.

SuePurblybilt · 20/10/2010 20:36

The Holes one and the Chip Pan one are the same episode. Song here at 6 mins in.

Auntie Mabel singing "Holes, holes are everywhere" over actual footage of badgers humping. Nice.
