I think Chris had a point earlier. I don't think Scott or Matt or Kara will win - I think it will go to someone like him, who started off a bit crap but got better and the public seem to like that kind of thing.

Which is why I'm surprised that Jimi's gone, he was prime candidate for winning.

Where does Patsy's partner come from? Can't place the accent.

Ah - he's from just outside Ipswich so Suffolk! He's the only professional dancer without a wiki-link but there's lots of juice about him on the official site... He's been on the Ozzie and Dutch versions of the show!

Oh wow - wasn't sure that it was an English accent - seemed to have a hint of Kiwi in there ... or maybe that's just me!

I think I picked up that Pamela & James are doing the cha cha cha and Kara & Artem the Argentine Tango.

Not sure of any others though.

Scott should be great at jive - his salsa was fantastic! Rumba is always a problem for the male slebs, but I think Matt has enough public support to be OK.

My bet to go this week - Felicity or Michelle, with (gasp) Pamela as a wild card - her latin isn't as great as her ballroom, and i don't reckon she's terribly popular with Joe Public, and relies on high judges scores to get through each week.

I think the samba is making an appearance this week. Not too sure how recognisable it'll be though as I think Anne will be "dancing" it. Oh the horror ...

Instead of giving the scores after each dance, surely the fairest way would be for the judges to RANK the dancers after all the dances so at least there would be no tied scores and so less chance of having the middle rankers ending up being booted off ...

Or is that just wishful thinking???

I'm excited about Scott's jive too - although he still looks full of cold!

I want to see Anne to go - plain and simple! Don't think she will, but I can hope and we all know she'll be at the bottom of the leader board no matter how much she's improved (although she got a 7 from Len for one of her dances - that made me quite cross!)

I don't really care that much about the voting - there will always be people who go too early and even with a dance off, Anne would never have had to take part if some earlier posts are to be believed!

You've reminded me - I was going to start a thread in Chat about SCD. Sort of a Fantasy SCD thing. Who's your SCD partner, what dances would you do and to what music, etc? I'll go and do it now.

vmcd - didn't realise they were still together (well, until recently of course!) Thought the other week that it must have been a while since she split up with Vincent as he's got a little boy with someone else now. (BTW - how lazy was that article?? 90% was quotes, mostly from The Sun - from 3 years ago!!)

Arghh...dh has a rare weekend off and Liverpool are playing at 5:30. I think I'll have to be kind and watch SCD afterwards.
