Bring back the dance-off, that would have saved him .

Def another vote here for the dance off. I hate not having it as it was the only way to save good dancers from weird public votes. I'm already worried about next week's results.

They have got to bring back the dance off, this is crazy. It wouldn't have helped Jimi today I don't think, because the judges seem to overmark Michelle and would probably have kept her.

It is such a shame he's gone, I really liked his dancing and I think Flavia's routines are always really quirky and interesting.

Jimi was 4th on the leader board with a score of 32 and 7 points. Michelle and Brendan just below with 6 points.

I'm devastated for Jimi, so sad to see him upset and crying. I loved his enthusiasm, he was a great dancer and I'd say he would have ended up a fantastic dancer if he'd got the chance to stay in. No way should he have gone before ANN, Michelle, Felicity, Gavin or Patsy. I adore Flavia she's my girl crush too! I've lost all interest in the show now they're out.

Like last week, if there had been a dance-off, the other couple would have gone. The judges would have saved Jimi over Michelle any day. Jimi out of all the professionals seemed to be really loving the whole experience and I think he had really improved. Shame.

While I find A/A quite entertaining, once the good dancers start to leave the joke will begin to wear thin. What I don't like is the way Anne says things like "You should see our samba ..." as if she is certain she will be back next week. Have a bit of humility Anne!

I think Craig had been told to return to his Mr Nasty persona - he's been too nice the last couple of weeks.

Wasn't there something wrong last year with the dance off - something like someone couldn't possibly win, no matter if they won the dance off.

But I do think they should have a way to balance out the public voting - fairly (i.e. not like x factor!)

Love Strictly, but the result last night was the worst I've seen. Poor Jimi, he was in total shock. I just don't get it. Ann got the most public vote? How is that possible??? I quite enjoy seeing her dance (although wearing a bit thin now) but I would never pick up the phone and vote for her as the best. Uggghhhh.

I agree with what someone else said on here, that Aliona isn't the best choreographer. Matt is obviously a great dancer and could do with trickier stuff to do, to try to get that 10 he so desperately wants. Kara's routine was fab and totally suited her standard.

I hated the result too, but it's meant to be down to the public. You have to accept that mad things are going to happen. It's really a popularity contest.

If it was just down to the best dancer then there would be no need for public vote. Perhaps you have to look at the final and think that Jimi wouldn't have made it that far anyway. He has gone too early - I loved his enthusiasm and we voted for him for 3 weeks.

I know, it's definitely a popularity contest, but in a way that made it worse. Poor Jimi, it must be awful to think that no-one bothered voting for you, or that no-one was even thinking of you at all - sob!!
