i am SICK of ann widdecombe. hated that wire work bullshit, hate that everyone thinks that she's such a laugh riot and am convinced that the judges have been told to go easy on her because she's a laydee. they tore into john sergeant week on week for much less.

and GET A BRA, woman.

Loved tonight's show with the exception of Peter and Michelle, although even I have to admit she was better than she has been. Peter's whole performance just made me want to hide until it was over!

I loved Matt, Kara, Jack and Pamela as always. Thought Patsy did a good job and really feel bad for Gavin, he's taking the feedback so hard.

Ann is just hilarious but she is so hunched and Anton is still dragging her about. I was a bit at her 7 from Len though!

Witch have to agree with the bra comment, what is the costume department doing?

Think it would be fantastic advertising for Rigby & Peller to step in and do something with Ann Widdecombe's chest - I'm sure it needn't droop like that, it looks so heavy and uncomfortable.

My hunch is that Gavin is just not going to improve because he's restricted by his self-consciousness, vanity and complete inability to show emotion. I don't think it's anything to do with hih being a rugby either, think it's just him and that it'd take a lot to crack the surface.

Can't work out whether Kara (who I like, seems very nice and normal to me) is having a good time with Artem or not. He comes across like he really loves himself and I get the impression he wouldn't have a lot of patience if you muffed up too much. On the one hand I think he's a great dancer ... but would you have fun/be able to relax being the person paired with him ... hmmmm ... not sure.

but i wondered if tess was hinting at a relationship between them tonight? agree he is an unnattractive fellow, while she seems adorable.

oh yes and was very underwhelmed with pamela tonight, she just looked CROSS. agreed with craig re lack of pizazz. also, SHUT UP WOMAN, it's not your show.

Really ... oh ... well that's okay then. I was feeling sorry for her! Although they did look quite 'friendly' in the clip at her parents' house!!

Agree that I don't think Gavin is going to improve. Shame because I really like Katya. He will probably stay because I suspect a lot of women are voting for him!

As Liv says, I had heard that Kara and Artem were having a fling.

Problem is that a lot of couples, professional dancers included, spend so much time together that they think they are in love, but as soon as the dancing stops it all fizzles out.

My dance teacher said that it was very common in the 70s and 80s for professional dance partners to get married as it was just cheaper to share a hotel room than pay for two! It happened with Len and his ex-wife: they performed all over the country together and got married, but as soon as they stopped competing and took over her father's dance school they realised they had nothing in common and the marriage fell apart.

Agree that Ann needs some extra scaffolding - the series started so well but they're heading south again.
Whilst she is not the best dancer, and never will be, she is at least trying (unlike John Sargeant) and she deserves credit for that.

I think someone else on here had mentioned about getting Gavin some acting lessons. I agree 100%!
They've done it in the past for other celebs and it may help him loosen up a bit.

Loved Steve, Matt and Kara.. Peter was awful.. Fast-forwarded through Michelle and Ian, I just can't stand her! Pamela was okay but I didn't like her facial expression.. Saw a bit of Ann's dance, but she just looked like she was being dragged around the dance floor. I know it's difficult because of the height and therefore the stride difference between them, but on the plus side, I agree, she is at least trying. And the rest were all on par with each other in the mid table, I thought. I did feel sorry for Gavin, his legs were shaking throughout the dance and he only got 2 points more than Ann- how embarrassing!

I think it's Peter's time to go..

jimi and kara were fab but yes girls costumes bit odd tonight.pamela lovely dress but she just swished it around a lot.
ann def improving.didn't think patsy was that good - it looks like its hard work for her.

much as i never thought i would say this having been irritated beyond belief by her wdytya, i am really rooting for patsy. precisely because it does seem like such a slog for her, i think. she's really not naturally talented at anything except being really pretty.

Just caught up now - Don't get to watch till kids have been put to bed.

Peter's got to go this week, surely? Michelle still painfully awkward to watch, but better than last week.

Loved Matt & Aliona's Charleston, and enjoyed Jimi & Flavia too.

I'm hoping Gavin stays in for a while longer as I'm actually finding him quite amusing (surprisingly)...When he was saying how much he loved Peter Andre was just comedy genius (although I've a feeling he was actually serious )

Pamela's dress was hideous again - Do the wardrobe dept. have something against her?

Agree that Peter should go, he is really awful, and I feel so bad for Gavin. No he can't act, but he is really trying and they are being incredibly harsh on him IMO.

Michelle much better with Ian, not much of a surprise there although I am biased because I think he is fab and I don't like watching Brendan.

I thought they over-scored Pamela, it was a pretty underwhelming tango compared to some of the others.

I thought the whole taking Artem home looked like an "introducing your bloke to to olds" - so it actually was then. Ah well, they do seem happy together. Loved the dance, it was loads of fun

Love Matt and would love to see Gavin get better

Cant warm to Pamela or Scott and not liking Felicity and Vincent together - its how she looks at him.

Acting classes worth a shot but suspect that he's just expressionless in RL too and that's a lot of work to put right. Having said that, if he had six months away from any kind of mirror then maybe he'd forget himself and relax a bit more as to how he looks.

Anyone watching the results show? Loved, loved, loved that group dance from the pros. I really enjoy swing / lindy hop so hope that means we'll see more next week.

While I loved the opening dance and am really liking this Argentine Tango ... I'm wondering what the other group are for - Darren, Ian et al ... I thought they were supposed to do all this stuff to allow the ones with celeb partners to concentrate on that side of things???
