For those that love Mistresses as much as me, I have just read in the latest Glamour mag that Mistresses is back on our tv screens early next month! Fabulous!

what is with all the weirdly soft accents, i kept wanting a accent button on my remote to turn them up.

Agree about 'accent button' needed for Tv remote. Am glad they did the soft focus post-production and didn't reoly on me having to constantly use the 'face softener' button myself. I would have been v.busy. I couldn't even concentrate on that scene between Richard and TJudy in their garden as the focus was so fecked up: clear as a bell for his face shots and then 80 denier tights over the lens for her.

Though the climax was sooo tired and cliched and very Cold Feet: "what's that you say, you're going to drop everything for me and we'll run away together? yes, yes, make sure you don't drive very fast and distractedly, darling person whom I only just noticed 5 minutes ago but am willing to sacrifice every female relationship for because I'm such a fuckup. Hoorah we can both be happy together at last. Happy FOREVER! Yes, Bye!"

Cue blood on his windscreen and moby. What's the betting the police will give his moby back to Trudy and she will want to listen to his voice once again and so ring up his messaging service and... UH-OH that's Katie's message on the phone

Ooh good call about the phone message OOSSC, I can definitely see that happening. I have a feeling Siobhan will tell her ex to go to the US and she'll think he's gone but he'll turn up on her doorstep at the end. Love this show but still in shock that Orla Brady is 49!! How is this possible??

Love this show - but it does feel a bit disjointed.

Katie - could see a mile a way that she wasn't going to get on that train

Siobhan - just get on with your life Dom is a dick!

Jess - is she pregnant? - found the whole being rather ill whilst in charge of Elsa a little confusing.

Trudy - god she's bloody annoying!

Wondering if he might be disabled rather than dead. I can see it going full circle so that he is in the home with his wife having to visit him (and Katie?).

That train was a mighty long time pulling into the station - it was pulling up when Katie took the call, but still on the platform when police had identified the body and had time to tell Trudy!

GreatOrmond, Yes I know I can't believe she's 49 either!!! I'm 41 and look at least 10 years older than her. Does she have kids??? (apart from Elsa, obviously)

two points here: Elsa how old is she supposed to be and who was the baby in the buggy in the woods? surely not that giant of a toddler?

Yes kitty, the toddler did rather look like an 8 year old in the buggy didn't she?!
More to the point, Elsa looks absolutely nothing like Siobhan or Dominic. I know toddlers can be tres chunky but she is MASSIVE and there's no sign of Siobhan's willowy genes there at all.
Still, at least Richard's gone - The Worst Actor of the Year. Can't get his role in The Office out of my head!

Yes think she must have been in the pushchair - otherwise who else would it have been and Jess smiled at the pushchair possibly because she was in it - however agree why wasn't she running with the others.

6mths passes and they all get together (what we saw in the 1st episode) for some reason

therefore jess should be waddling/heavily pregnant and didnt think she was when we saw her in episode 1

Just watched the first part of the 1st episode and No Jess doesn't look pregnant - she looks rough and in unshapely clothes so maybe not showing yet but def doesn't look majorly pregnant.

It was indeed 'enjoyable pants', wasn't it . The acting during Trudy's drunken confession was dreadful. I was another one telling Elsa to get out of the pushchair and have a run around, fgs!

If pregnant, Jess is only 6months-why would she be showing?

Why is Elsa wearing a cheap black wig and being wheeled around in a buggy, she is old enough to be in school surely?
