penis size

My ds has a very, very small willy. He's terribly worried about it - he thinks it's tiny - but I told him he's fine, once he hits puberty (he's just had his 13th birthday), it will grow.

But will it?

Can't comment on small but I have been worried that my 12 year old is so huge!! Blush - assume all develop differently like girls and boobs!! Still plenty of time!

Bless him, i'd hate to be that age again and all body consious. I'm sure it will grow through puberty.

If you're very concerned, see your GP. There is such a thing as a micropenis, so you could Google that (medical information rather than photos!) to see if your DS fits that description.

When he gets an erection, does it grow?

Watching with interest as I'm in the same boat with my 12 year old. He's becoming image conscious of late and washed his neck twice last week. Joking aside though his is titchy and he is worried

There is a condition - micropenis that he can get checked out for if you are worried.

It was because of Penetration Man that I started this thread... "acorn-size willies" made me feel anxious for my boy!

Yes, he is overweight (not obese but definitely chunky) and comfort-eats in secret. He's a worrier, but you wouldn't know it by looking at him. Very cheerful and outgoing.

My 16 year old dd really put her foot in it when she exclaimed "your willy's really small, isn't it?" when he was coming out of the shower.Shock

If it's that small, realistically, I'd look up micro penis and stop telling him it will grow at puberty - take the "it's not the size it's what you do with it" angle instead, I guess, but in an age appropriate way?

You could see a GP but that might make him self conscious and I'm not sure if there's any actual medical help available.

Since they say that the majority of women don't orgasm through penetration alone it always surprises me that penis size matters so much. Surely a considerate lover with a small penis is preferable over a selfish twit that's hung like a donkey Hmm

If it were my DS I would be telling him that women don't choose or fall in love with men because of their penis and that whilst a large penis for a man or large beasts for a woman might offer some extra self confidence it's not breasts and penises that make people fall in love. People fall in love with people as a whole not parts of their anatomy.

I did tell him that his will be perfectly fine when needed, that he mustn't worry and when he asked if size mattered, I said no. I think a lie is permissible in this case. We'll see what happens when he goes through puberty.

If it's that small that your DD commented I wouldn't take him to the docs on reflection. There's nothing they can do for micropenis and it's more a case of learning to live with it. I would keep up positive comments but be careful about telling him it will grow.

Well maybe put it to him like this, has your DS gotten to the stage yet where he has liked a girl? Or if not is there a celebrity he likes? Ask him if he can imagine not liking/loving that person because she had smaller breasts than he would like? Or perhaps she has a scar? Ugly feet? Or any number of things that a person might feel self conscious about. Point is, we all have hang ups about our bodies as none of us are perfect. When we like someone, really like someone for who and what they are we don't care about things like a flat chest, beer belly, strange pinky toes or a smaller than average penis.

Most men have small penises and most men have a bit of a beer belly or an overly hairy back, these men are not cast aside in some sad lonely single man corner and your DS won't be either. The thing that will make him unattractive is if he lets it define him, if he is so hung up on it that he can't help but make it a big issue in his head and then therefore in the head of anyone he dates. He's got a small penis, so what! There is far more to him than just his penis! That needs to be his attitude! If some man didn't like me because of the size of my breasts or my ass then he can jog on, plenty more fish in the sea!!!

He's a good-looking boy, has lots of friends and likes a few girls. One girl he likes in particular. He's very conscious of his weight and I never keep treats / junk food in the house. Appearance has become a big deal to him recently, which is normal. I worry about the weight but I worry about the willy size, too. I help him with his weight but can only hope silently for his sake that his penis grows with the onset of puberty.

Stephen Fry said he was a very late developer and had a very small penis through his teens. It was the reason he hated sports - bullying in the changing rooms. His did develop though, and he says it's totally average now - so it can just take a while.

Poor lad. Ds always had a tiny Willy but I have no idea what size it is now as he is 14 and isn't likely to let me look, even if I wanted to. Which I don't.
The best lover I had was the one with the smallest Willy.
