Who's booking new ink for 2022?

Just paid a deposit for a very bright new piece on my forearm in April. Most excited.
Anyone else got anything booked?

All good here. Had one laser session in May. Have held off on the second until October. I don't want to be minding it and not sea swimming during the summer. I can't see much difference after the first session. I paid for three upfront, I don't think I'd bother going for more if I hadn't paid.

I’m a bit sad for you that you e ended up down the laser route. Tattoos should be exciting things not disappointing. Will you start again when you’re lasered off? I think it’s more likely you’ll see a difference after the next session tbh. Don’t let one poor artist put you off. There are so many amazing tattooists out there.

I considered lasering on the bat I mentioned upthread but finally decided to just stick a black heart over it. I did that last week as well, a very trad style black heart with a flower. I’m happy the bat has gone but healing two tattoos in this heat is no fun.

I certainly slept last night. Spent most of today darting for cover like a vampire at dawn 😂

I think I'll do the three sessions and see where I'm at then. I'm thinking if it fades a bit I might be ok with it. The visceral hate has definitely dissipated. I still don't like it but I'm a bit whatever about it. Can always go to the other lady after the few sessions and see what she thinks.

Tough to keep yours out of the sun these days. Glad you are happy with the bat cover up. I don't think I'm done with tattoos. I'd like to get something sea related as sea swimming is my absolute favourite active thing to do. Will have to get researching. I like jellyfish but I want something small enough so there could be a loss of detail.

Hopefully you’ll get to a happy place with it. I really think it will fade by the third session.
I’ve seen a few watery themed tattoos on instagram and that’s a theme that could produce some amazing possibilities. Have a look at watercolour jellyfish, it’s suits the style wonderfully, but then so does simple line work.

im certainly done for this year now and nothing really planned yet. I’d like my other forearm done as well at some point but there isn’t any real idea on that like there was for the Disney rides. I think if I do go for anything I’ll be doing it autumn/winter rather than summer though 😳

Think autumn winter is a much better idea for tattooing. Don't have the hassle of minding it.

I like fine line stuff. Will have a long hard think for myself. When I decide what I'd like I'll get in touch with the lady I saw about getting this one fixed. I also love seahorses. I shall get googling and instagramming for inspiration.
