continuing from here and quoting esher!!

OP posts:

Tracey and Esher - I don't tend to wear a lot of make up during the day, but always (ie 24/7) have mascara, eyebrow pencil (invisible eyelashes and eyebrows), concealer and lip gloss/stick on. Its like my religion. Then, of course, slap more on when its evening time. How much/how well depends on if DD is hanging off my leg. Oh, the glamour.

Cakey - am v jealous you have a friend here for the summer! The hardest thing for me at the mo' being SAHM is the loneliness. How sad do I sound? But I used to be surrounded by adults w interesting things to say, and now its a treat rather than a given. Still, won't be like this forever (ie I will go back to work when our babies are older).

Which brings me to my news, which I really regret the timing of, Reallygrumpy. But I am pregnant - 3 months' pregnant. Wanted to wait till had my scan on Friday to tell you, but then if I come on MN Friday afternoon telling you its like I have hijacked our meet up the next day so its all about me. So now its not new news for Saturday!

traceybath · 12/07/2010 14:01

Oh Bunny I am soooo delighted for you - I did have a sneaky feeling that you were

So what will the gap be and when are you due?

Just had a very succesful outnet delivery - ordered it on friday when it was a further 50% off. It is lovely on but does need taking up a little - will wear it out on my birthday I think.

Esher - I was piling on the glitter eyeliner on saturday night - ds1 would have me wear it every day though . How was your school ball and what did you wear?

blossoming · 12/07/2010 14:02

So, so pleased for you bunnymother. Had been keeping my fingers crossed for you. Excellent news!

MarshaBrady · 12/07/2010 14:04

Congratulations bunny!

bunnymother · 12/07/2010 14:04

Tracey - thanks!! Gap will be 19 months, and DC2 is due mid-Jan (although date will be firmed up at the scan, I think). I am pretty big already (13 weeks tomorrow), definitely bigger than last time - someone even asked me if I was pregnant. Oh dear. Navy Calvin Klein dress looks wonderful!

bunnymother · 12/07/2010 14:05

Oops, crossing posts!! Thanks bloss and Marsha!!

OllieWollieWoo · 12/07/2010 14:05

Congratulations BM - fab news! So, so pleased for you - and DH of course! Very exciting. Another W&A baby! (and thats so sweet of you re worrying about hijacking meet up!) Am so that I wont be there so see you all and say congrats in person but another time maybe. Now have a big smile on my face - pregnancy news always does that to me!

OllieWollieWoo · 12/07/2010 14:07

Oh - my 2 have 19 months between them. I really like it that they like the same stuff at the same time iykwim. A bit busy at times now DS2 is 3 but lotsa fun too.

bunnymother · 12/07/2010 14:07

Thanks OWW! DH is thrilled! Says only thing to make him happier is if we are having twins. That will not make me happy. Yes, hopefully there will be another meet-up so you can say congrats in person (and rub my tummy for good luck. Joking!).

traceybath · 12/07/2010 14:09

I've got 19 months between my youngest 2 and I've found it a pretty good gap.

So maternity clothes - have you kept all yours? I definitely found it easier being heavily pregnant in the winter too.

Oooh a cape would be perfect over a bump.

Bloss - I know how hilarious that susannah (my nbf) recommended leopard print to me.

bunnymother · 12/07/2010 14:09

I am quite scared of having 2 under 2, but thinking that once DC2 is a year old, should hopefully be a bit more manageable. Thinking they should be good company for each other by then (while I act as referee for inevitable fights - DD is a bit wilful).

notyummy · 12/07/2010 14:09

Congratulations Bunnymother!!

Wonderful news for you.

MarshaBrady · 12/07/2010 14:10

Love the Calvin Klein dress TraceyB. Très chic!

bunnymother · 12/07/2010 14:12

That's good to hear we have 2 W&A ladies w 19 months' gap already and think its a good thing. Less panicked to read that. I did keep all my maternity clothes, and may have made the odd supplementary purchase this time round that haven't mentioned here. Just the odd purchase! I think it will be better than being enormous in summer (last time got v hot and bothered). Then hopefully can strip off some kgs in time for summer. I will need a tent generous coat for winter, so will need to put my thinking cap on for that.

bunnymother · 12/07/2010 14:12

Thanks notyummy!

MarshaBrady · 12/07/2010 14:14

Bunny a cape is quite a good one as it isn't restrictive and then you can keep it for after.

bunnymother · 12/07/2010 14:16

Hmm, good thinking Marsha - will have to start looking at capes. I also really want a grey cashmere wrap cardi, so will look for one of those, too.

OllieWollieWoo · 12/07/2010 14:21

This coat has potential - not v warm tho??? Seem to be lots of military style coats around for A/W so on trend as Mary ortas would say?!
here

bunnymother · 12/07/2010 14:23

OWW - link didn't work, but I think I will need something warm as I really feel the cold. A bit torn, though, as don't want to spend much unless I love it and would wear it post-pregnancy.

DolceeBanana · 12/07/2010 14:28

Bunny - that's wonderful news! Hurrah!

OllieWollieWoo · 12/07/2010 14:28

It was a black jersey double breasted coat from the A/W collection at Next. I was pregnant over the winter and ended up buying a long puffa/duvet coat - didnt really need a bigger size either. Thought I would just wear it whilst preggers but ended up loving it so much got 3 years worth of wear from it! Tended to wear it open with layers tho as towards the end of the pregancy used to get hot v easily! Mine was 50 pounds from H&M at the time.

VerityBrulee · 12/07/2010 14:32

Bunny that's fantastic news There is a 21 mth gap between my oldest 2, life was busy when they were little, but they are best friends and have lots of fun together.

Cain great news about your job, as Tracey says I'm sure it has special wardrobe requirements

HF thinking of you, hope your dad is on the mend.

Bloss I'm with you on the weather front, lots of grey skies and rain here. Whenever the sun shines, we rush to the park, but got soaked to the skin on friday when it just bucketed down. Very of those with a heatwave.

OWW sorry about the football! DS2 was supporting the Netherlands and was v disappointed.

Have you seen this? Dh sent me the link and it made my heart melt a little .

Marsha wish my dc were invited to birthday parties like that

Off to read the Trinny and Susannah chat!

bunnymother · 12/07/2010 14:34

Thanks Dolcee!

Can you tell DD is having her daily nap - have been on MN pretty much the whole time .

OWW - thanks, think will give jersey a miss, but you have reminded me to look at H&M when their coats come out, and also Uniqlo do those down jackety things, too (sleeveless one might look better). So I could be both warm and solvent - very nice.

bunnymother · 12/07/2010 14:36

Thanks Verity! Don't worry, ladies, DD will wake soon...

Yes, hf - how is your dad going??

Right, off to gymboree - DD has woken. See you later, and thanks for all the congrats - just lovely!!

FritziGreenEyes · 12/07/2010 14:50
