Are white jeans/trousers EVER "in"?

I have just got 2 lovely tunics from White Stuff in the sale- they would both look goood with white or pale coloured trousers or capris.

Is white a bit naff- especially for an "older" person - but is still a size 10!

I think the whole thing about white jeans is that if I see someone in them, I expect them to turn round and have a permatanned orange face and an Argos clown necklace on.

I shall be getting last summer's white skinny jeans out again this year!
I tend to wear them with loose shirts or stripy tees, or rolled up 3/4 length with gladiators and a 3/4 length top for evenings...
