Are white jeans/trousers EVER "in"?

I have just got 2 lovely tunics from White Stuff in the sale- they would both look goood with white or pale coloured trousers or capris.

Is white a bit naff- especially for an "older" person - but is still a size 10!

I think they can look fresh and smart in summer, and brighten up an otherwise dull outfit.

Also not too keen on crops - you need very long legs to avoid looking stumpy.

As to whether they're 'in' or not - well, does that mean Kate Moss is wearing them? Couldn't say, but it wouldn't stop me wearing them.

I'm contemplating linen jeans for this year - intend covering arse, obv.

Everyone in Brisighella, picturesque Italian town in N Italy, wears white trousers to church on Sundays. I was swooning at how chic they were.

light beige jeans can look surprisingly respectable, I had some topshop baxter skinnies in a light cream/beige shade last year and they were really flattering

I have never ventured into white jeans territory, but if you are not too enormous and the cut is nice (best to ensure the arse is a good fit) then why not, very summery. I'd go for straight leg or skinny though, not bootcut. Paige do some lovely ones but rather spendy.

White linen almost always shows underwear or lack thereof, and makes most wearers look gigantuous, beige does not have this effect

Both my DDs are wearing white skinny jeans today and they look fab in them, so I am contemplating buying myself some to replace the worn out pair I chucked last year.

I can recommend the white baxters - lovely fit.

I dont think anyone over a size 12 should wear white skinny jeans

I always wear them in summer either wide linen or my faves skinnies or boyfriend jeans v flattering but then I think Liz Hurley looks ok even though she is an arse.Am sixe 12 and 5'5 but not skinny and they look fine
