hi everyone and thanks for your kind msgs. Have had a lovely day.

have just skimmed through while bfing so not really up to speed but well done on your Outnet buy tracey and big boo hiss for roman - horribly disappointing, hope it comes through Monday.

mm just had to post as just had email through about this dress and thought the brownish colour might be a contender if the Reiss doesn't work?

have good evenings all

hellsbelles · 16/04/2010 19:59

roman - what a complete pain.

Meant to say the cakey dress links (which I couldn't get to work at first) are so very beautiful

hellsbelles · 16/04/2010 19:59

And so glad to hear your day was good LTEC

traceybath · 16/04/2010 20:05

Blossoming - can you shove what you've made into the freezer if in-laws don't come after all?

LTEC - glad you had a lovely day.

Bea had 3ozs out of a bottle tonight - yeay!

blossoming · 16/04/2010 20:26

Yes I will traceyb. I fear my patience will have run out with this lot though. These are the ones who couldn't come to the funeral either.

Romanarama · 16/04/2010 20:32

blossoming where do you live, I've forgotten? Much more important for general nice life and well being to talk to people in pretty location than go to gym. I loathe gyms.

(Ponders what to do all weekend in a contender for Europe's most boring capital the Capital of Europe)

(Ponders what to do with Barbie-on-a-vespa extravanga if doesn't go to stay with friends with 4yo daughter)

Glad you had a nice day ltec

blossoming · 16/04/2010 20:42

I live in north Wales in a small town in snowdonia. It has mountains, lakes and rivers. I'm also from here and moved back two years ago after 19 years of Europe, London and Cardiff. So I know loads here. Fantastic support after what just happened.
You must be so annoyed roman. Could you drive to Italy instead?!

everything - poor you too!!!! Hope DH gets home soon....ready meals and disposables justified I think!!! Take care

FrancesFarmer · 16/04/2010 21:54

Speaking of clogs, I actually have these (farm4.static.flickr.com/3505/3466434996_e1f389664f.jpg) Gudrun Sjoden clogs in black from last summer, never worn. Yes, I am that fashion-forward ? clogs last summer.;) I was going to sell them but thinking about it, they are quite similar to Hasbeens so I?m going to give them a triall run tomorrow and see if I can get over my aversion to inflexible soles. I?ll keep you posted!

I bought these Topshop joggers the other day (www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=19551&s toreId=12556&categoryId=159936&parentcategoryrn=74433&productId=1251991&langId=-1) for my baby yoga class (so a practical rather than a fashion buy) but I thought I?d try to work the current sports-luxe trend on the way to the class and back. I teamed them with this t-shirt in coral and white (www.net-a-porter.com/intl/product/63032?cm_mmc=LinkshareUK--ProductFeed--Acne-_-Tops&siteID=0RpXOI XA500-zB3DrOBleetuM6z5JfW5gQ) - it?s great for hiding post baby lumps and bumps btw ? and a black blazer and tan coloured gladiators. I looked in the mirror and unfortunately, no matter what the mags say, I couldn?t go through with it. I stuffed the tracksuit pants in my handbag with haste and replaced them with a skirt. So, having tried it, I must warn you all ? don?t go there. Narrowly-avoided fashion disaster of the week.

I love that Whistles top, ApuskiDusky, the cardigan is nice too but wouldn?t be my cup of tea as I find that when I wear them, the drapey bits inevitably end up falling into eh cups of tea and elsewhere.

Not sure everythingiseverything - I'm often tempted to try stuff from Jo Brown's, but shy away for fear of it being cheap and nasty... But having said that and looking at their site after your links, I am also liking the no ordinary jersey dress

AllBuggiedOut · 17/04/2010 00:42

Sorry, know that was a very unhelpful last post eie but hoping somebody helpful will come along!

bunnymother · 17/04/2010 08:38

Roma - how v disappointing re your holiday!!

Cakey - glad you had a lovely day. The plans you described sounded wonderful.

Everything - solo weekends are really wearing, aren't they? Pre DD no problem, but dealing w Sonic the (sometimes stroppy) Hedgehog solo for long periods of time makes me v grumpy. Drives me straight into the welcoming arms of my local Zara for solace.

Tracey - great Outnet dress and am cheering for Bea!

Likely to don my uniform trusty outfit of straight or skinny jeans, silver ballet flats, warm jumper and jacket for playground outing. Am too scared of Delie not to take her out for as much activity as possible. . My little commandant.

bunnymother · 17/04/2010 09:10

Everything - I couldn't get those links to work, so can't comment.

Blossoming - well done on your heroic catering efforts! Those relatives had better turn up after all that hard work. Sounds like they are already on social probation after not coming to your darling's funeral.

MrsJuan - does sound like we have similar DDs! Delie used to be quite chilled, but since she has learned to crawl is into everything and is v bold - she crawls away from me all the time, inc in public ie crawls out of the playworld (indoor mini playground) at Westfield and into a nearby shop. Didn't even check that I was following (obv I was).

bunnymother · 17/04/2010 09:18

Right, I have posted the last 3 messages on S&B so that's a sign to get OFF the computer and take my Little Commandant out for the day!

Hope there's sunshine where you W&A ladies are!

Romanarama · 17/04/2010 09:22

Funny to be at the beginning of a solo w'end with the boys - 1st time in ages!! At least it's sunny. I'm taking them to see the dragons film this morning, then when it's warmed up a bit outside we'll go to the park for the afternoon.

Everything I get an error message on the links too.

(Jeans and trainers for me today - I'll be as S&B as a trip to the playground can take!)

hellsbelles · 17/04/2010 09:29

links not working for me either!

Tracey - it was obviously your day yesterday a £1 dress and Bea finally giving mummy a bit of a rest and taking 3oz!!! Great stuff.

I have relented and ordered Roman's zebra tee. Now have to think of something for DH's rapidly approaching birthday. Electric guitar is off the agenda now...he is a nightmare to buy for as he really don't need anything.

blossoming · 17/04/2010 10:04

Sunny here again. Unheard of to have eight sunny days in a row in the holidays.
Am silently fuming. Sil not coming, just bil and 2 teens. Really can't be bothered any more.

You can get the Joe Browns links to work, everything if you right click the image, click on view image and use theat new url. Gives you the picture, anyway. Presume this is the dress, but nbt sure which trousers you mean. HTH!

AllBuggiedOut · 17/04/2010 13:56

Tried Phase Eight maxi on today - would need shortening on me (5'4/5") so that model they have it on must be enormous. But the propertions were great for a shortie. Only concern was that fabric very heavy so hung nicely but not sure you'd want to wear it on a hot summer's day. Evening yes...

Romanarama · 17/04/2010 17:46

Well, dh is stuck into a fabulous batchelor w'end in Manhattan with his best mate (whose wife is stuck with the kids somewhere else in Europe!).

Lovely sunny day here though, and I rather enjoyed the 3D film about dragons that the los wanted to see. Even McD could have been worse .

Congrats on your zebra hells! Mine is still waiting in its suitcase, but let's face it it's looking very unlikely we're going to be going anywhere.

Romanarama · 17/04/2010 17:53

Am of course penning a shopping list for dh, will browse possibilities
