Bunny - I did mean MM and the night terrors - am clearly going mad! Yeap - I think the coloured denim are probably quite different from the normal denim.

Well - have now ordered these with the grazia 20% off (GRAZIA20).

hellsbelles · 15/04/2010 13:33

Tracey - they are fab! Are you getting any sleep yet?

traceybath · 15/04/2010 13:46

Sleep is for wimps hells

hellsbelles · 15/04/2010 14:00

Tis true Tracey! Though I do hope little Bea gives you a break soon.

traceybath · 15/04/2010 14:45

Hows your DD - is she any better?

I too hope Bea starts sleeping better soon - I really thought now she's crawling she'd sleep better but oh no.

Have just bought DH a voucher to get a massage www.lucknampark.co.uk/ which is where we're going for dinner on Sat night. Can recommend it if anyones planning a luxury break down this way.

Hells - have you started house hunting yet? There's so little on the market round us.

LetThemEatCake · 15/04/2010 15:13

Lucknam Park is lovely Tracey....we used to live right next to it!!!

Hope you have a fab time!

Have you tried Whately Manor yet? Tis v nice too. I also like Manor House at Castle Combe....where I spent my wedding night

Do you think Bea is going through the 'separation anxiety' phase?

Tracey - are you looking in Bath and surrounds? We are looking in a wide area and you're right...not much around...

traceybath · 15/04/2010 15:23

Doclee - we used to live very close to Lucknam too - Euridge if you know it . . .

Yes we're looking north of Bath but not much coming onto the market.

DolceeBanana · 15/04/2010 15:27

Uh, yes, we lived in Colerne...had an old Grade 2 listed place we did up and sold on in 2007!!! Spooky or what!!! So, you're not secretly Belle Robinson then?

DolceeBanana · 15/04/2010 15:29

Are you living around there now?

traceybath · 15/04/2010 15:41

No - but they were our landlords as we lived in one of their cottages. Now they had a nice house!

LetThemEatCake · 15/04/2010 15:47

tracey totally agree that going out with all 3 is quite stressful - that's why I take advantage of dh being around to venture farther afield, or to do things in a more relaxed way. I've done the Southbank thing on my own with all 3 before but it's no fun for anyone - baba in the sling, C reluctantly strapped down in the pushchair, P being made to go on the buggyboard, me with an aching back!! But too paranoid about one of them running off to do otherwise. So we do go out everyday but generally just places where I know they are contained and only if I can walk or drive with them - public transport with all 3 if tough work even if dh and I are both there!! Obviously we meet up with friends during the week but they all have 2 or more kids too so you can't be expecting them to keep an eye on the kids while you bf or whatever...

MM big hugs to you, hope the brighter weather =lifts your spirits and brings the smiles back

going back to look at links now. Oh, if anyone has any idea of what I should make these kids for dinner tonight, much appreciated. Am all out of inspiration ...

This volcano business is a nightmare (esp as next Friday is my long awaited trip to London after a 4 year absence!). Was meant to popping to Antwerp for the day on Saturday with a friend for a days shopping but her husband's stuck in the UK cos fo flights being cancelled! Just hope its stops spouting ash soonísh!

LTEC - your planned day sounds lovely. I used to love walking from Shad Thames all the way up to The London Eye. Used to pop to the cafe at The Design Musuem a lot when DS1 was born - once had to bf him there and wondered why a group of Japenese tourists were standing in front of me and realised DS had popped off the boob and I was sitting there gently spraying milk everywhere! Think they thought I was a modern art exhibit!

DH has a third round interview tomorrow - nice job but location not ideal in terms of commute tho so I have mixed feelings (he currently has a 10m bike ride from home).

Have a night out with the expat Mums from school - going to a lovely Spanish lady's house so hope cava and tapas dishes are on the menu! No school tomorrow either so we can have a nice lazy start to the day (and by that I mean boys can watch cbbc's and I can lie on the sofa gently recovering from the effects of tonight!)

DolceeBanana · 15/04/2010 15:59

Yes, Robinsons house lovely! Although the new build thingy (stone) bit of a blot on the landscape!!!

Can sympathise LTEC - My middle one refuses to be in pushchair (and trolley!!!) - screams blue murder but only way to zip round places safely - as she is most likely to zip off (aargghh), well, I say I zip, more plod...yes, with babe strapped in bjorn, eldest running alongside and colliding with pushchair!!! I am totally sick of turning up places feeling all dishevelled and some smarmy 'pretend' friend saying (you know the ones who pretend to be your friend, but say ever-so-slightly catty things like,'oh, look at you, you poor thing...don't know how you do it !!!') whilst they look on pitifully. Have to say, these usually have 1 DC and farm them off to granny every weekend (!) Uually feel like telling them to piss off, or say, 'well, keeps you slim, ' to the more well endowed!!! Sorry, rant over....

No idea what to make either....baby had sardines at lunch !!!!!!!!She is a GOOD girl!!!

DolceeBanana · 15/04/2010 16:01

Got any couscous?

Romanarama · 15/04/2010 16:09

LTEC can you put them all in a P&T E3 double? I used to do this with my 3 - just put ds2 on top of ds1 in the top seat. That made going out infinitely more relaxing.

Thank you for all your nice comments about our house! We used to live in Rome and go there every single weekend and bit of spare time, and it was lovely. Now it's just sitting there and we've hardly been at all for months. Bit .

I hope everyone's having a nice day. Here it's lovely and sunny (though they've closed the airport because of the ash so fingers crossed that gets sorted by Saturday). I went out for lunch with a friend and we spied a 2nd hand designer shop. I got a Marc Jacobs silk chiffon lilac dress for Ibiza party for 240 euros, a Missoni v-neck jumper for 140 euros, and some YSL flats (never worn), strappy with leather cut out stars, for 70 euros. So a rather more expensive lunch than I was planning, but rather nice

Romanarama · 15/04/2010 16:13

Was going to say: couscous, sweetcorn on the side, fried egg on top. Always a winner. Takes approx 5 mins.

Another staple here is pasta/pesto. My favourite is basil, almonds, oil in the processor for 1 minute, any proportion. Grate the cheese on top. You can use any leaf or nut - spinach is good. (ds3 ate only this for supper for almost a year )

Risotto with pea puree stirred in 1/2 way through ('green rice').

OllieWollieWoo · 15/04/2010 16:18

Wow Roman - good shopping! I love those days when you find some real finds when you are not expecting too!
Love the pics too - house is lovely and you have such cute kids!

traceybath · 15/04/2010 16:20

Its pasta and pesto here tonight as I'm off to dr's when DH gets home early for once.

I've got the phil&teds vibe but bea hates being in the pushchair. Who said number 3 is the easiest - afraid Bea hasn't read that book .

Dolcee - I know what you mean - I get lots of 'oooh, you've got your hands full there' comments.

Romanarama · 15/04/2010 16:25

OWW I find Belgium really expensive. Everything is marked up 10% on France, which mystifies me, and VAT is 21% here too. Is it the same where you are?

So, I've decided 2nd hand shops are my friends. Not just clothes, books too. It's amazing how many 2nd hand shoes there were that were unworn - people buy the wrong size or just impulse buy then never wear things. There were some amazing jewelled Prada glads, really lovely, but just that bit too small. I was gutted to take them off! Still even I am wise enough not to spend 140euros on shoes that hurt when I'm still in the shop!

LetThemEatCake · 15/04/2010 16:30

ah, they hate couscous. It's all good - oven baked salmon, carrots, broccoli and roast tats it is.

same for bub, but mooshed up. He is currently on my knee rubbing his gums on my Braeburn apple I do love a good Braeburn, 'tis my daily sweet treat.

I get a lot of the "ooh, you're busy" comments too. Said pityingly, I think, although I am one to take offense where none's intended I also hate when the baby is crying and strangers ask "is he hungry/ tired/ dirty?" Don't talk to me when my baby is crying!!!

He had major public meltdown today, was pure hell, thank goodness P&C were being angelic.

I've got an itch to scratch -- really feel like buying something. Just a lightweight summer scarf, even!!

Roman am so that sounds fabulous!! what finds!

apuski welcome back, how long til bub is due?

spider that dress is very bold!! Much wow factor. Like the work dress too, tres chic.

tracey I always smile to myself when I think of your dc names .. they are so at the opposite end of the spectrum from mine. We are wide open to being called c**vs or wannabe football/ WAG/ slebs types whereas yours are classic and lovely.

Romanarama · 15/04/2010 16:44

I've had "I'm not surprised he's crying with you jiggling his pushchair like that". Ffs. Just ignore the loons!

LetThemEatCake · 15/04/2010 16:56

tracey what are you wearing Sat night!??
