Ladies, welcome to Spring

I have been told I look like Tina Hobley but paler! I think it's the jawline - we both have square faces.

Have also been told Cameron Diaz (when I had short hair) - but the person who said that was very drunk

LTEC - I suspect the smileys gave me away. No slip up not a freudian one...honest gov.

And no...I'm not gorgeous now. Remember that doppleganer suggestion was from DH who married me (and is blind to reality!)

And yes...you will get your body back. No doubt. It's just that there is no point having that dress sitting around till next winter. If it's not perfect you know it'll just take up space that belongs to something better.

ltec does your body change once you've finished feeding? I lost most of my weight but more fell off when I stopped feeding.

Still, if the dress doesn't work on your hips, I don't suppose that will alter?

Fleecy - I agree. I know BF helps you lose the bulk of the weight quicker...but in my experience you hold onto a layer while you continue feeding that starts to drop off as soon as you wean them.

yes, most of my weight tends to drop off once LO starts weaning ... so another month or so away .. I've actually ende up weighing less after each LO

but it's going back anyway .. moths ... space .. mumsy ... too many negatives

LTEC - I quite like those boots but I think you really have to try them on to know if they are going to be comfy and see how cheap they look what the leather is like close up.
Stylewise I do like them but I'm inwardly grimacing a little at Barratts - I do not think I have ever bought anything from there.

Well Bea loves her food - I started about a week before 6 months and she's on 3 meals a day.

sorry- didn't see the 9 stone reference. LTEC - that will be too thin. Really. You are tall aren't you? I think 9 and a half would be on the skinny side - but I know you like that so won't argue that. 9 stone will just look horrible. And you'll look older too (hopeful that bringing premature ageing into the equation will make LTEC see sense)

was joking about 9 stone. Really I was. Am too sporty to want to be super, super-skinny.

I've been stopped and asked for my autograph twice. Once (15 years ago) two school girls thought I was Tamzin Outhwaite. I now look very different. I got asked a few years back again in Italy because they thought I was Lenny Kravitz's girlfriend (my ex-dh did look like him). I've always pretended that means they thought I was either Vanessa Paradis or Lisa Bonet.

On the subject of stopping feeding. I've been bfing for 20 months and have more or less stopped. Can I expect any of my belly to go? How quick? What is going to happen to my boobs? Ok so not S&B but I figure you lot will tell me the truth!

LTEC well remembered - my feet are very slim. We'll see what happens but having looked at it all again I think it could all go back. I really wouldn't go with the Barratts boots. I spent a long time having to buy cheap shoes and it is just not worth it. Find some in the sale from somewhere decent or pay a bit more. Please.

Evening All. DD is home now and on the mend thank goodness.

LTEC 9 stone is underweight for your height. I am 5 ft 6 and 9 stone is on the edge of my ideal weight.

Fleecy JAG has headhunted some ex-colleagues who sound like they are having an exciting time at VM.

I have managed to hunt down a Chanel nail polish (No 505 Particular) that I tested in HoF but didn't buy at the time. I can't believe I have extended so much energy on finding a nail polish, but it became a mission in the end.

Has anyone purchased the my wardrobe gladiators yet?

Esher I am with you on Barratts. They may well have some nice bits in there but I just can't bring myself to walk through the door. Maybe because when I was at school they sold sensible shoes.

MM I am in Sarf London, meet up sounds fun - but the stress - what to wear??

MM - body wise...with DS in general my body really did go back to normal - with DD I'm being a bit piggy so it's taking longer but I think I'll get there.

My breasts however are not the same . Fine with a bra but not without. I've heard it's pregnancy as much as breast feeding that does that - so really there is no avoiding it. I have a large chest anyway so I think that makes matters worse.

am so pleased DD is better Choo, great news. Can you start selling off some of your unworn clothes please, am certain I want some of them!

MM I am happy to spend more on a pair of boots but honestly, these are the only ones I've seen that I like the look of! Also, hard to get my size at the end of the season. Any suggestions, I'd be grateful.

Zembo that's great, they will be lovely. Choo and hells both have them and speak well of their comfort and style quotient. They come up too small on me, sadly.
