Ladies, welcome to Spring

No Geordie, you forgot that I've stalked you spoken to you before.

I live in the polo mint city - so there's an M&S 'down the centre'.

However, without outing myself too much, I originally come from a place v v close to where redliquorice lives

geordieminx · 08/02/2010 21:45

Ah yes.... I shall be there tomorrow... ds seems to like the soft hell play they've opened

Ooh geordie where is that?

sorry for going very off S&B topic

Redliquorice · 08/02/2010 21:50

RIP - I work in the Polo Mint City! I don't originally come from Blackwood but am now furiously thinking of all the places that could be deemed v v close !

RipMacWinkle · 08/02/2010 21:55

It begins with an 'L' so it's pretty close

geordieminx · 08/02/2010 21:56

Just down from marks - opposite side, there is a furniture type shop, and used to be a joke/toy shop, I think its there? Its ok actually, £1.50 for half an hour, £2 for 1 hour, they sell coffee - ideal for 3 year old boys

RipMacWinkle · 08/02/2010 21:57

Thanks for that Geordie - handy to know, as I have one of those myself (a 3 yr old DS that is!!)

geordieminx · 08/02/2010 21:59

good for a bribe reward!

blossoming · 08/02/2010 22:00

Can I put a subtitle - endorsed by LTEC? I'm sure that would push the price up!

Redliquorice · 08/02/2010 22:00

RIP - Just as I thought!

cute bag hana, love the yellow ... esher linked to a yellow bag here not long ago which was very nice too ... here comes summer!! >

blossoming I do think you should end the listing early and re-list with a higher start price .. I've sold a lot of shoes on ebay and since you, like me, are at the, ahem, larger end of the shoe-size scale and since they are higher-end brand, you can afford to start the listing a lot higher. Starting low will get you lots of interest but not necessarily a good price.

CHOOGIRL - Just saw you on the blackberries thread - how is your dd? been thinking of you

OP posts:
KristinaM · 08/02/2010 22:14

hana - the red version of that bag is on clearance in our local tk maxx for £12

its lovely but very small - you must be a very neat organised person with no children

red - i assume there is more than one polo mint city as i shop there too - but there is no soft play near m and s and it begins with E

[waves to all s lan MNers]

RipMacWinkle · 08/02/2010 22:16

Kristina - I reckon it's the same place.

The soft play must be new... I didn't know it existed and I was in M&S today (trying on the MN favourite ballet pumps!)

CHOOGIRL · 08/02/2010 22:16

DD is much better thanks, although they wont discharge her until she has finished the iv antibiotics. I am on the nightshift tonight with laptop and dongle!

Have seen some fashion nightmares in here - I know it is a hospital and not a fashion parade but too tight grey tracksuit bottoms and vest top is not a good look when you are size 18 (or any size for that matter).

Just finished eating a whole bag of smartie mini eggs so feeling a bit unwell myself. Need some retail therapy to motivate myself.

KristinaM · 08/02/2010 22:16

Rip - is there a loch in your town and a famous mill just down the road in a newer place?

geordieminx · 08/02/2010 22:19

Me too - although there are bundreds of frigging lakes lochs up here.

Kristina I didnt know you were in Scotland.

The softplay is near where pasttimes used to be, and round the corner from hsamuel.

Ooooh we could have a scottish s&b meet-up!! Sounds like we are all within 5 mile of each other!

Redliquorice · 08/02/2010 22:24

KristinaM - I'm in Blackwood and work in the E PoloMint City! GeordieMinx is in U, RIP in E. Now are you going to give us some clues as to where you are? oh, love your kitchen (just had a nosey at your profile !

KristinaM · 08/02/2010 22:25

thnaks geordie - i will check that out. i never go down that part as everything seems to have closed down there

i am in that shopping centre several times a month, not for exciting clothes shopping but to take 3yo to optician to repair / replace his glasses [sigh]

geordieminx · 08/02/2010 22:28

Beautiful kitchen Kristina.

Sounds like we all have 3 year old monsters!

CHOOGIRL · 08/02/2010 22:34

Blimey - it's going to take me ages to catch up on this thread. I've only been away from it a couple of days!

Dolcebanana I work in the shallow world of PR and Communications in the really popular industry of financial services - bonus anyone!!

This thread has reminded me that I do have a Mulberry Phoebe in Darwin Oak. It was a spontaneous purchase at Schipol Airport a couple of summers ago. It was in the sale reduced from 700 euro to 300 so I got it. Went back next week to get one for a friend and they had all gone. Does anyone else do this?

LTEC I almost got the Tiz wedges in Silver last summer but they had sold out in my size. You really are Brenda to my Kelly

KristinaM · 08/02/2010 22:35

i am just of outskirts of E, in a small village. just about 2-3 miles from that shopping centre, 5 mins in car. you must all come for coffee [ NB must clean kitchen]
