Tracey and LTEC - so sorry you are dealing with mountains of vomit!

mrsjuan - I was about to ask the same question on the M&S flats!

REd - I think your colouring is perfect for nudes. I just was flicking through some magazines at the hairdresser and a lot of the models were redheads for the nude type of clothes.

LTEC - I agree it's a great chance for us to try and bypass eBay here where possible. And as to 'nudes' for our skintone - maybe you are more golden than me (I'm olive skinned and suit silver rather than gold if that makes sense?). When I had my colours done about 100 years ago it was amazing the difference between the crisp whites, and cold creams (that looked wonderful) and then the nudes just looked blah! There are probably a few tones that will work - but they are bloody hard to find.

Right - better get work done.

dexter73 · 05/02/2010 17:34

That is a beautiful dress Georgina Worsley! Do you know if there are any promotional codes for Warehouse at the moment?

blossoming · 05/02/2010 19:22

Hi all, been busy listing my entire clothes collection on ebay! Had success selling some fitflops on another thread last week and it inspired me to have a clear out. Will be in London early next month with lots of lovely spending money hopefully .
Okay, the M&S flats mrsjuan and hellsbelles, tis the £19.50 ones. Great value. Shame you're all such tiny things on this thread or I could invite you to look at some of my stuff .
LTEC - glad you decided on the hunters. I'm sure the black ones will be very urban country on you as opposed to the brown ones which I have which look country country .
Hope you all have a great weekend and all illnesses disappear. On my own with the dcs, dh in London.

hellsbelles · 05/02/2010 19:37

Thanks blossoming - I'm going to get some for sure...they are a bargain.

and I'm not tiny at all (what do you count as tiny? I'm a size 12)...can you post the link and I'll take a look!

blossoming · 05/02/2010 19:43

I wouldn't dare . Seriously, my good stuff, paige, seven, choo, gucci (bags) I'm keeping, might put my d&g sunglasses and gucci sunglasses on tomorrow. Then I'm going to start on the kids stuff. Anyone with a baby girl, or toddler girl?

hellsbelles · 05/02/2010 19:49

I have a 12 month old girl! Go on, anything you can tempt me with.

I'm starting to think I need to list my stupidly expensive (christmas present) and only worn once CL shoe boots. I admit - I have never looked better and my legs were rendered long and skinny ...but I couldn't walk in them and had to change into flats about 30 mins into the evening.

I think there should be classes for learning to walk in heels!

mrsjuan · 05/02/2010 19:52

Ooh me me me- I've got a girl- nearly 9 months now but diddy. She's still mostly in 3-6 month clothes.

We are on our way to the back and beyond of Wales for the weekend so probably won't get on line much for the next couple of days.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.

DolceeBanana · 05/02/2010 20:10

Hello Happy Friday ! Its Hooray only I've changed my boring old name...what a faff that was!

I thought this far more in keeping with the thread!

How is everyone...had busy day here - traceybath just dying to know if you use a Bath salon and if so, which one?

LTEC do like the tank - and fab price ! Like the look of the shape - I too am obsessed with them having nicely shaped armholes as it were...far more flattering like that than a thicker piece...and Theory skirt v pretty...silver great with tanned legs.
Cannot believe you DON'T IRON ... what about duvets, DHs shirts? Your dry cleaning bill must be massive...

porridge - backlit Choos - like it ! Somehow doesn't naturally sit with chickens and coun'ry stuff...

DolceeBanana · 05/02/2010 20:13

On account of it being Friday and me being tout seul I have cracked open the Sancerre - cheers everyone. Now off to do some virtual shopping.....

LetThemEatCake · 05/02/2010 20:13

have a good time away MrsJ blossoming - I am a 12 too!! I ended up buying Aigles rather than Hunters - tomaydo, tomato, am sure

GW - like the kimono one a lot, not keen on the ditsy

hells hope ds's party goes well - how old?

verdict on the ASOS stuff:

swan tee looks good with the rats - or will do, when I'm no longer as heffalumpian as at present - jeez, those babies are a good incentive, evrytime I reach for the chocolate/ ice cream/ wheat free biscuits I'l think of my ruching-encased thighs and desist!! Tried with both black ash high tops and patent ankle boots, it'll work. DD (3) came in and send "mum you look cool" I was about to preen when she followed up with "You look like a doctor"

the ruched front top does not work with the rats, so I tried with skinnies and ... I dunno, there's just wrong with the shape and size. Billowy yet boxy all at the same time. Like esher though, I found the colour quite suited me so may look for more nudie things

any thoughts on my navy tank/ silver grey skirt question?

OP posts:
carciofi · 05/02/2010 20:31

Hi all.

I am another size 12.

LTEC, I think navy/silver would go very well. I love Theory.

What do you think of this dress?

I ordered this Boden dress but not sure about it.

I love the Miu Miu navy dress.

Tracey, hope your DS is better now.

I have a 22 mth old girl, Blossoming, what are you selling?

If anyone needs anything from Sweaty Betty, CDBF07 gives you 20% off and free delivery.

Have a good weekend and MM, enjoy Paris!

LetThemEatCake · 05/02/2010 20:36

ooooh ooooh -

an alternative to the Brora dress and so much cheaper!!!

love those sleeves ..

OP posts:
DolceeBanana · 05/02/2010 20:39

Carciofi

Like the Sonia dress but perhaps not that colour? Not sure if any other colourway?

Can see why you're not sure about the Boden - print and fit to my mind seem frumpy...

Looking for a dress are you, what sort?

DolceeBanana · 05/02/2010 20:40

Gosh now THAT is the dress I've been looking for....

LetThemEatCake · 05/02/2010 20:49

I know, I know!! I ordered the Brora one and then cancelled the order because £189 (on sale!!) just seemed too much and was only avail in balck anyway (dull) .. really would hae preferred purple or brown ,,, and here they both are!! for half the price!!

Which one should I get?? will need something to replace the purple and brown Tam Tams next winter as they will be too big and the buttons superfluous as will no longer be bfing ...

carciofi - amazing coming from me but that dress is a little too pink I think - or maybe just the wrong shade of pink - too bubblegummy iykwim...?

DolceeBanana · 05/02/2010 21:00

Off to rustle up some pasta...speak soon

carciofi · 05/02/2010 21:05

Yes LTEC, get both.

I am looking for a couple of casual summer dresses, I like this kind of style. I need a Matches discount code!

Dolcee, like the new name.

I have emailed Boden to cancel the order, you are quite right, ladies.

Hana - I am also happy being me but wouldn't say no to being me with Louboutins and Chanel bag!
