OP posts:

Oh I really liked the low heel boots! I'd not have got away with wearing them but could see how nice they were.

also tried to order xan coat but it got lifted out of my basket!

If you have a brown 12 I will offer to have it if you don't want it!

thisisyesterday · 01/02/2010 19:17

no, it's the 14 i'm afraid FA!

Cyb · 01/02/2010 19:18

I wish they woudl update the website and just have whats actually left. I keep clicking on stuff and its all gorn

Flightattendant · 01/02/2010 19:18

Ach, no worries, hope you settle into it...sometimes things 'become' you after a while...

Flightattendant · 01/02/2010 19:19

Btw dress is GORgeous

Cyb it is driving me mad too. I rang earlier bout returning jacket and they said anything that comes back will appear straight away on the website...well I somehow doubt that.

thisisyesterday · 01/02/2010 19:20

yeah, i think i might just wear it round the house a while and see.
it's nice and long and warm

Flightattendant · 01/02/2010 19:21

ikwym.
I have opposite problem...a few thigs that ARE totally 'me' but a bit on the large or small side!

I will just have to grow extra toes and stop eating cake.

Cyb · 01/02/2010 19:22

Dress On ebay for £69. But it doesn;t look so good on the mannequin

thisisyesterday · 01/02/2010 19:29

hehehe i had that with a beautiful pair of DM's i bought when i was about 19. I was totally in love with them but they were really too big for me, i used to wear them with about 3 pairs of socks on, and then eventually relented and sold them on ebay

vesela · 01/02/2010 19:38

I can't believe there's still so much stock left in the raspberry fedosia tunic dress!. I'm a 14 and I find it a great shape because it's elasticated a bit in the small of the back.

Flight, when you say dodgy green do you mean this one? It looks very nice there.

vesela · 01/02/2010 19:41

also whoever said on another thread that the skirts are slightly thick-waisted is right - I'm a 12 on the bottom but find some waistbands tight - anyway, these 12 skirts are if anything on the loosish side on the waist, which is fine by me.

thisisyesterday · 01/02/2010 19:42

oh, now i almost bought that dress, but i wasn't sure if it wouldn't make me look pregnant?

vesela · 01/02/2010 19:47

I was concerned about that too, but it doesn't (at least I don't think so!)

Flightattendant · 01/02/2010 19:47

Lol at the DMs

Vesela, YES! That's it! It's actually much more yellowy green than it looks there, but the shape is right...I love it, it's the kind of coat I've wanted for years - probably because my mother used to have one, when she was in her elegant phase many years ago!!

The fedosia dress looks really nice too. That style is very useful indeed and if cut right as you say, very flattering.

I do prefer the damson to the red though.

tattycoram · 01/02/2010 19:53

I got that fedosia dress in raspberry and it did indeed make me look pregnant. Lovely colour though.

I'm wearing this needlecord smock with jeans at the mo. I recommend it, lovely and soft. I also got this cardigan but it is massive. Very beautiful colour but I think it is going back and this which is very nice but still quite expensive for a t shirt I think so am not sure. Also got cigarette trousers which are beautifully cut

fishie · 01/02/2010 19:54

tiy what colour needlecord you got?

i hvae rasp fedosia despatched today in 14 but no word on blue boots.

Flightattendant · 01/02/2010 19:56

hmm my despatch note says the shift dress is 'yet to be notified' or similar euphemism

does this mean they will send it if/when it appears back in stock, or not?

they are a confusing bunch, I'll give them that.

SilverSixpence · 01/02/2010 22:25

I got my order today, the leather flats (two pairs) are both gorgeous good quality leather and a vast improvement on my Oasis ones which were just 13 pounds less!

The Cesca dress was a bit disappointing, bit more clingy than in photo in an unflattering way. I do like the colour though..am tempted to buy the cardigan in the pink instead.

Straight wool/linen trousers too big . They still have them in a size 8 though so am considering it.

Fedosia fits and is useful, but seems a bit pricey for the quality of fabric - anyone know how well it holds up with washing?

thisisyesterday · 02/02/2010 16:59

fishie it's brown.

vesela · 02/02/2010 19:36

Silversixpence - mine's washed well so far. It's a slightly odd texture because of the linen in it, but I like it.

The only thing I'm in two minds about is the black jersey dress, which is useful and nice (warm) material, but very.boring, even as black jersey dresses go. It's just a bit too austere.

fishie · 03/02/2010 20:51

well raspberry fedosia is a chiz, is bloody rust. and makes me look matronly.

shame is brown tiy, i'd have taken a blue off your hands...
