FabMum1 · 19/10/2009 10:16

Cybil that does look good. May invest in some to put on before bed but still use my Burts during the day.

I can not believe my nails, I've even had comments on them.

Keep it up girls!

CybilCeremony · 19/10/2009 18:58

Burts really is the Dogs Bollocks, isn't it? it's all that theraputic massaging that does the trick and they smell so nice you don;t want to eat them.

FabMum1 · 19/10/2009 21:28

Mmmmm they smell good!

FabMum1 · 21/10/2009 20:52

Hows it going ladies ?
Hope you are all managing to keep the nail biting at bay ?

CybilEngineer · 22/10/2009 07:22

I ripped my cuticle off in a particularly stressful 5 minutes at work yesterday

Geocentric · 23/10/2009 00:11

Nails ok, but have been at the cuticles a bit...

Fab, sounds like you're doing really well! Congrats!

I have two weddings in two weeks time - how long do you ladies reckon nails have to be for a little bit of colour? At the moment I'm sticking to clear varnish, as I only have the tiniest strip of white.

FabMum1 · 23/10/2009 08:15

I painted mine a gorgeous deep red last night and even hubby commented on them. So I think that you'll be able to paint them in a couple of weeks, just before the weddings.

Just keep on rubbing in the cuticle balm everytime you feel the need to nibble. Thats what I do, I still find myself picking my cuticles but straight away I stop myself and grab my balm. I know its hard but just keep trying, you'll get there eventually.

It'll be worth it, COME ON GIRLS!

CybilEngineer · 23/10/2009 08:17

Yes Geo if you can maintain your standards(esp with cuticles) you can have colour. My nails are actually quite short...but I still paint them dark colours.

I reckon it's the quality of the skin around them that determines if they look shit or not. So get massaging that cuticle stuff!

MacaroonIncident · 23/10/2009 08:48

ooh look at bossy boots and her thread

Geocentric · 23/10/2009 11:09

I might do a trial run and paint them blood red for Halloween...

Wanderingsheep · 24/10/2009 18:11

How is everyone doing?

Well done Fab and Geo! Good to see that your nails are growing nicely.

I'm still not biting and my nails are starting to look quite nice. They have White on the tips and I have taken pictures of before and after on my phone to remind myself how horrible they looked bitten!

I'm putting cuticle cream on them but not very often as I keep forgetting! I'm not using Burt's Bees though just a No 7 one.

CybilAviationAuthority · 24/10/2009 18:22

I ahve stupidly ripped 2 of my fingers (stressful week) But am not biting.

CherylVole · 24/10/2009 18:22

cyb what do you do?

CybilAviationAuthority · 24/10/2009 18:24

My Offical title is 'Inclusion HLTA'

I support SN children in a school

Geocentric · 24/10/2009 21:51

Wandering, I've been leaving my cream by the pc, so I rub as I MN!

Cybil, loving all the name changes... Is there a story to it??
