Marsha thats over £1000 ?! Wow.
I had a coat a bit like that in brown a few years ago.
DH and DDs all called it my Empirer Ming coat

Mine arrived yesterday (to Belgium, so pretty fast I think). It looks exactly like the picture. I got an S, and there's room in it for a jacket too (I usually wear an 8, sometimes 10). I like it enough to keep it - it's very light and I can tell it will be warm, but it's not a massive duvet. I have a white long hooded puffa too. It's not a thing of great beauty, but it looks nice over my skinnies and boots, and I think is very appropriate to my new life in chilly, damp Brussels.

(The North Face logos are a bit annoying, but at least they're black on grey so not too in-your-face)

I didn't notice the logo at first, at least it is just on the sleeve. I do like the look of the one you got Romana, but I fear the double breasted style would do nothing for me, sounds like you are slender so it would suit you.

I am still looking, I hope I don't prevaricate for too long, in case everything gets sold out. I think I want a navy knee length waterproof, warm coat, but still would consider brown or maybe even purple.

It has another logo on the left shoulder blade iyswim too.

Do get a dark one. My white puffa is lovely, but I have to take it to the cleaners very often - every 2 weeks if I wear it a lot. So expensive and hassly.
