Could you go out for the day with no makeup on?

We are about to go out for lunch and some shopping and I have left my makeup bag in someone's car.

I could get it but dp said just go out with no makeup on. I am going to and think it could do me no good to go the whole weekend make up free. But it feels very odd.

No.

StripeyKnickersSpottySocks · 01/02/2009 12:01

I normally go out at the weekend without makeup. Only wear make up for work or nights out.

southeastastra · 01/02/2009 12:01

i couldn't but i'm dead vain

Overmydeadbody · 01/02/2009 12:01

yes

In summer I can pull it off

twinsetandpearls · 01/02/2009 12:01

I wear it every day unless I am not leaving the house. yesterday I went to the cinema and out for coffee with no make up on and felt as if I looked haggered all day.

I rarely wear make-up, I'm too lazy. I do feel better when I have made a bit of effort, and if I'm feeling a bit rubbish then a bit of slap definitely makes me feel better.

Do what makes you feel best.

twinsetandpearls · 01/02/2009 12:01

Tinker that is ridiculour

no, I would rather not.

eNABlemetobebetter · 01/02/2009 12:02

I never wear make up, so yes, I could go all day without it. Some days I don't get round to brushing my hair so make up isn't even on my mind!

I am sure you will still look lovely.

Mummyfor3 · 01/02/2009 12:03

Make-up? What's make-up? I thought it is something you do after you had a fight?

TrinityRhino · 01/02/2009 12:03

I never wear make up

wouldn't know how to do it lol

twinsetandpearls · 01/02/2009 12:03

I can not leave the house without make up, I look pasty enough as it is

MrsMattie · 01/02/2009 12:03

Yes. I only wear make up now and then. I can;t imagine wearing it every day. Not good for the skin.

Tinker · 01/02/2009 12:03

Oh, I hardly ever brush my hair. But I do feel it's important to give the impression that I do have some eyes. And a mouth.

cocolepew · 01/02/2009 12:04

I could but if I had the choice I wouldn't.

People would think I was the walking dead.

twinsetandpearls · 01/02/2009 12:05

If i dont wear makeup I get told I look ill.

I have a very badly behvaed bottom set year 9 class and I taught them one day with no makeup on and I heard them saying lets be nice to Miss she is really ill. I regularly now dont wear my make up to teach this class and it proves to be one of my most effective classroom control techniques.

I will not be in any photos today though.

"I heard them saying lets be nice to Miss she is really ill"

Ha ha, if that's the case then don't bother wearing any at all. They might bring you presents.

Flamesparrow · 01/02/2009 12:08

great teaching method!

MrsSeanBean · 01/02/2009 12:08

What cocolepew said.

I've had flu for 4 weeks (and counting). Had to go back to work this week and have worn no make up. I'm so sweaty and my skin is so bad that make up would just make me look worse IYSWIM.

I never usually leave the house without my slap on. I must be ill!
