If you like Next perfumes there's a 12 day fac for 40 quid. I will get one for my friend from work, she is going to India for a month with severe mobility issues so expects to be unwell when she is back. I want her to come back to some nice smellies to look forward to.

I said I was just getting the perfume shop advent for my mini collection but I got look fantastic fragrance and boots style Korean as well.
It looks like the discount on Fenwick is only if you have Amex which I don’t have so I will wait and see if there’s any reduction next month.
Being sensible I probably don’t need any more mini’s for now but there’s a couple of unusual ones in the Fenwick calendar. ( Being sensible is so boring though 🤣 )

Thanks I don’t have Amex so that’s stopped me from getting it for now. Probably a good thing.

I'm now sitting on my hands and trying not to think about HN FAC. I don't need it, I have lots of lovely perfumes coming my way already. If it gets reduced though it might be a different story 😂 I went down a rabbit hole earlier about the link between GLP-1 and fragrance addiction. Apparently people are replacing food with scent, hence gourmand scents being popular at the moment. This could help explain why my collection has gone from 1 to 100 in a year 🙈

Vinted keep rejecting my reports of SFAC saying they do not clearly violate their rules. This is new- they were removing them before.
I assume they are boosted listings so making Vinted money 😡

eta, following a pp suggestion, I have had some success appealing and sending a screenshot of the violation. Two of the previously allowed listings have been removed 🥳.

Being an advent vigilante is time consuming but cathartic. I think I’m nearly over it now. Still hope the resellers end up stuck with stock though.

Just appeal each one. I send a screenshot of the listing with ‘advent calendar’ highlighted, and a screenshot from their website showing you cant sell advent calendars. They are reviewing appeals quickly at the moment and have removed all the listings Ive appealed.

I have been super busy with work this week and just caught up on an entire thread and a half 😅
Selfridges are clearly an absolute shambles. For an experienced high end retailer, its not unreasonable to expect better than this. I hope the scalpers end up having to shift them under rrp. When it comes to selling defective or damaged products, absolutely dont let that go @NC543210 furious for you!

I am currently in possession of liberty, GB, HBAC, HFAC and I have a frankenstein of random beauty drop/GwP items- can't remember what is in is so will enjoy opening it.

I'm probably not going to jump on another unless there is a mega deal that I can't resist.

The only one I was still considering is the boots skincare one if they reduced it a second time as I now have enough points for the reduced points. However, it appears to be sold out now so that's me done. Famous last words 😁

On a side note, whoever said they were doing the Harrods FAC weekly - thank you. It's a great way to do it. I've really liked the 3 I've tried so far. The 3rd one is definitely more a night time one but I'm wearing it to lunch today regardless. I was just restrained with the sprays. I have also discovered the benefits of spraying on the inside of my elbows. Much more subtle for stronger perfumes.

@ClutteredPalace That's so interesting and makes me feel less mental. I've gone from a handful of fragrances to an ungodly amount and they're all essentially pudding-scented.

I do find I shop more when I'm on MJ. I'm seeing reports of GLP-1 positively impacting additions and dopamine-seeking behaviour and I'm sat watching the tribe of delivery men arrive at my door with parcels like, are other people taking the same GLP-1 that I'm taking?

im sure Look Fantastic has already been discussed but I’ve been watching a few of them but finally decided this is the one to go for. Has anybody any ideas on if there is a way to get any discount on it? Has anybody had theirs yet and has any feedback on it? I saw it in store today and it looks excellent.

I am also on MJ. I think it’s displaced my food addiction to clothes, perfume and cosmetics instead!

I honestly don't know how it works, they use some kind of coding system. But it's ridiculous and I dont even understand how they shift that many!!

And yet @OvaHere and I think someone else on here had their second one cancelled because they weren't allowed more than one? Maddening.

This is exactly what's happened to me. I think its a mix of increased confidence, taking more time for self care because I feel better about myself, and still needing a little dopamine hit. I've always liked things that smell nice though, I'm just buying less scented candles and more fragrances instead.

Can anyone recommend an in trend lip oil or lip gloss, for a 16 year old girl?

Im making a frankenstein bac, but she's so hard to buy for!! And any other recommendations under £15?
She doesn’t wear much makeup, loves skin care and curly girl hair method. Only fragrance she likes is body shop vanilla spray which I've already got her, got her more bum bum cream already and im using stuff from 2 spaceNK free gift with purchase and my CB BAC for skin care/body care.

I think the psychology of perfumes is fascinating. I got into them during a period of very poor mental health. It was on a list of suggestions for activities to do given to me by crisis team which included buying yourself a new perfume or new golf balls 😂 Glad I went for the perfumes. I used to get those lovely themed taster sets from Escentual and sit on my bed smelling them when I wasn’t fit for much else. Very therapeutic 😊
