It’s my first order too @Botanique - I have messaged via Chat but not had a response so far.

I said in my message that if the GWP wasn’t included, I wanted to cancel my order.

I guess I will have to wait and see what they say, but I’m not particularly hopeful.

I would be reluctant to try returning the a/c after delivery because I would be worried I wouldn’t get my money back.

I should have taken my problems in getting the order through as a sign and given up the purchase.

Bad luck IlovePond, but I honestly would be hopeful that they'll resolve it. The GWP is completely legitimate after all. You added it, but the system mysteriously took it away again! I hope you get it sorted.

I ordered the Glossybox calendar from the TikTok shop, but just got a message saying that I needed to confirm that I still wanted it as the shipping was delayed, which is making me nervous. It's the first time using TikTok shop, so i don't know how reliable it is - can anyone reassure me?

I ordered one from TikTok shop and had a message to confirm my address and once I had done this it was dispatched in a few days.

Thanks. I got a message saying "if you don't confirm that you still want it it will be cancelled in 7 days" seems bizarre, but I have confirmed and will cross my fingers.

Personally I'll be erasing TikTok after this, the whole thing seems way too much faff to save a few quid on infrequent purchases.

Mine is delayed as well. Strange as it’s the second Glossybox advent calendar that I’ve ordered through them and the first was delivered in two days. I’ve confirmed my address but I didn’t do that first time. I messaged Glossybox direct about it and they replied saying they aimed to get all calendars out by 1st December. My TikTok order says it will be automatically cancelled if it’s not shipped by 29th October however ……

So despite all my sfac woes 🙃 i have not gone onto some form of BAC hyper fixation.
I said I wasn't going to have any this year. Got the above and SNK which was delivered yesterday. I actually really like it!
I have taken out what I don't want/ like and listed on vinted. I have popped in the make up by mario eye palette which was sent to me by a lovely s&b member.

But now.
I inexplicably want the CB and Boots luxe one. Sitting on my hands for now. Hoping to see some discounts.

So I might end up with three (not counting the sfac because it makes me too angry)

Is it bad that I mostly want it for the mini perfumes in it , I love a mini.
I am also not meant to be getting another advent but I am not staying off these threads as it’s one of the few nice and friendly parts of the internet ( with no mention of politics ) . I enjoy checking in with you all most days.

@RuralVicNo, it’s not wrong and indeed exactly the same. Im trying hard not to give in. But I said back in august that I would only buy one calendar this year and I seem to have four fragrance calendars and F&M 🤣

The Fenwick discount is from Amex, and not everyone has the same discount (some had £50, I had £25).

I spoke with a reseller I know (they don't resell beauty) and they said that people dont queue for the SFAC online. They bypass the queue with software (explained it to me, but I'm useless with IT stuff!) And one reseller had bought 400 SFAC calendars!!! 🤯🤬

Fragrance calendars don't count so you only have the one BAC. I was getting none but have the HFAC and BT so am technically worse than you in terms of sticking to my plans.

Nooo 400 SFAC!!! That is ridiculous and absolutely shouldn't be allowed. . No wonder so many people missed out

I bet they're stuck with them now and won't be able to shift them. I can't see many people buying at over the retail price after all the bad publicity and issues with broken bottles.

I just checked my AMEX offers and there is nothing for Fenwicks for me 🙁

Do they have 400 different accounts? Are they all going to the same address?

I bought one extra (trying for a friend) and it got cancelled due to the one order per account rule.

If they came in individual boxes then they could sell them on individually but I think the boxless ones probably go for less AND there is the risk of breakage so they may be stuck with 400 SFACs - Ha! Revenge is sweet!

Lots of times! I have had the joy box twice. There’s quite a community on FB and some talk about their impressions of each one on opening day.

I’ve done one of her scent classes too and made my own signature chypre.

I love 4160!

ETA, there’s often been a fairly good trade in swaps for ones you don’t like as much.
