Alternative to M n S knickers please?

I am done with M n S knickers - what can I buy instead that won't break the bank please? I was a fan of the midi for years, but a) I think the quality has deteriorated, the top band just seems thin and cheap and b) I have developed a bit of a menopause belly this year and I think I need something a bit fuller with some tummy control, rather than me bulging over the top!! Help!!

I’ve bought Stripe and Stare and British Boxers recently and they aren’t cheap but I’m not Impressed with the quality either so I’m not sure what the answer is .

Years ago Sloggi briefs got a lot of mentions are they any good?

If you have someone in Ireland visiting you ask them to stock up on Dunnes Stores for you. Much cheaper than Mark's and very similar in quality in my experience

Sainsbury’s knickers are great!

Dunnes have gone down in quality imo, same thing, less fabric and a skinnier band. So disappointing!!

I misread this as M&S version of a Snickers 🤦‍♀️😂 and was almost excited!! It’s been a long day!

Wirapa from Amazon. I have the high waist massive ones. Best pants ever.

Wirapa from Amazon are brilliant. Very comfortable and a thick cotton so have a bit of control.

I bought a pack a couple of years ago - fabulous. Sturdy elastic, lined gusset, great at holding tummy in and bum up. Bought a new pack in the last six months, cotton was thinner, no lining in the gusset, do not have the same tummy and bum hugging action. Very disappointed

Thunderpants are great..expensive but last years.

I bought stripe and stare, rubbish. Thin and baggy. I imagine they'd fall down. UK female company blah blah, made in China.
Sloggi still fabulous but don't buy the shorts your belly will be over them!
Boody are ok but not fabulous.
Big bloomers are great for hold but not cotton.

About to say the same.

I have always bought m&s knickers but the quality are rubbish now. I bought knickers from Next earlier this year and was really impressed. Better fit, size and a decent price too.

I wonder if those in England/Wales/Scotland can buy off the Dunnes UK site. Im sure they can. Love Dunnes knickers.

Another vote for Next knickers. They’re good value and comfortable.

I bought Sloggi (romance) midis for years but they’re expensive. I now buy almost identical ones from Costco. They don’t always have them in but they’re fantastic. Soft and well made with strong elastic. I think about £12 for three. Kirkland brand.

Agree that M&S have gone downhill. Holding onto the last remaining pairs from older sets! Bought new a month ago and they’ve shrunk, are thin and such poor quality. If they weren’t underwear, I’d have taken them back for a refund!

Sandra's lingerie, British company that makes much of their offering, sell Marquis knickers, like Sloggis of old. That's my go to.

Also Asda. I just want full coverage and comfortable for exercise these days.
